Kimono-Sleeve Floral LBD - 2 ways and Early Linkup.

Today, Nina from A World of Dresses is celebrating her birthday on her Blog and Instagram with myself and 5 other Stylish Bloggers. We all wore Little Black Dresses for this celebration. You can read Nina's post here. I decided to style a New LBD for this special collaboration and I styled it two ways. I actually wore the Day Look (with the Nude Rockstud Sandals) to work last week. The night look would be perfect for our belated Anniversary Dinner Date this Saturday night, any date really, and even a wedding.

I have never owned a Dress in this style. The Kimono Sleeves are feminine and flattering. The right-above-the-knee length makes it work-appropriate and since the Dress is Black, even-though the floral and leafy flowers on its pattern are large they are in white, making this a Great LBD and a Fun Black+White Dress, too. I kept the same Kendra Scott Pearlized Statement Earrings from day to night and the same bangles (one is in a cream enamel, the other in a gold-tone). I switched my sandals from the Nude Betseyville Rockstud Gladiators to the Ankle-Strap Bow Stilettos. For the daytime look I carried one of my regular Work Purses (in a dark metallic silver) which is the perfect medium size, while for the night look I carried a Butter Yellow Woven Leather Clutch. I added my Coral+Crystal Statement Necklace to the evening look and went for a Layered Black Metallic Druzy Necklace for the daytime look. Another thing I did is switch the way the dress' sash is tied. For the daytime look I tied it around the waist in the front, with the bow off the right side and for the night look I tied the sash only in the back in a large bow, creating a more curvy effect with the dress.
