Bright Maxi Dresses and America's Colors.

Originally when I planned this month of Dresses, in my head I had 5 different-themed weeks with 6 dresses each. Week one would be all about lace, eyelet and crochet. Week two was all about bright dresses. Week three is dedicated to floral, week four to maxi dresses and the final week to a LWD because a white dress is essential for Summer. But it is hard posting every day and since I am behind I am skipping the maxi week and throw a few maxi dresses in between my other themed weeks. Today I am wrapping up Bright Dresses week with two Bright Maxi Dresses, one in Red and one in Blue - America's colors - because Independence Day is coming up and there is no better time than now to wear Red, White and Blue. My dresses both feature fun details too like crocheted waist and woven neckline.

I love the Crochet Waist detail on the Strapless Red Maxi which I purchased at Wal Mart out of all places. And since the Blue Dress is more flowy, I cinched the waist with an Off-White/Khaki Wide Belt.

I love the vibrant red color of this easy, breezy Gauze Maxi Dress and of course the fun peek-a-boo waist and ruffle across the chest. I dressed it up with a Gorgeous Crystal Statement Necklace and a Kendra Scott Cuff. I also paired a few rings with it and simple Black Flower Studs. To add a pop of white and blue, I wore White Flip Flops with Baby Blue Patterned Straps.

I bet you remember my Bright Blue Fit+Flare Dress from a couple of weeks ago with the fun crocheted waist. I added pops of White with my Jewelry and wore my D'Orsay Bright Coral Suede Flats with it. Well, I did kind of the same with this Cobalt Maxi Dress (I love the woven halter neck). Since I wore the dress yesterday to a baby shower I dressed it up a bit so I wore the Coral D'Orsay Pumps rather than flats. The same White Crystal+Pearl Beaded Hoops worked out great and the Orange Fedora was necessary for keeping the sun away. My subtle red was via the Red+Orange Beaded Necklace (worn as bracelet) and a couple of Red Stone Rings. And instead of a White Belt I went for a Khaki one.
