Thursday Moda #6 and Floral Pixie Pants.
Happy Hump Day Everyone! I am throwing you off today because Thursday Moda is on a Wednesday. That is because tomorrow I am the co-host for Thursday Fashion Files with Jill and Carrie. But look at me, I got some pretty Floral Pixie Pants on and another Marled Tee. Yet another outfit from Old Navy.
I didn't mean to show you two Boyfriend style Old Navy marled tees, two days in a row. However the Heather Gray one from yesterday is actually even more oversized and it is seamed down the front in the middle. This one has a tiny chest pocket and no front seam. This Heather Lilac Tee paired so well with the White Lily Pixie Pants from Old Navy. I bought these pants in early Fall last year and have worn them with a white short-sleeve sweater, gray graphic tee and an off-white blouse so far, though none of those outfits were documented. I really wanted to wear these side-cut tassel booties and that day was warm so I wore them. I even painted my toes and they are in a matte serenity (almost a periwinkle color) and matched my tee beautifully. Another thing that matched my Marled Lilac Tee was the new Amethyst Rayne Necklace from my latest Rocksbox. I ended up keeping this pretty piece and I am happy to say I now own two Rayne Necklaces. I mixed and matched all of my latest Rocksbox pieces with some other jewelry of my own. And I decided to throw more cognac than just the booties. The cognac sunglasses were a souvenir from a long-ago vacation to Mexico and the Crossbody Bag is many years old, handed down by my beloved mamma. It was the first time I paired Lavender or Lilac with Cognac but it won't be my last. This outfit is great to transition into Spring, don't you think?

Last week's linkup was in the 3 digits ladies. Thank you. Over 100 of you linked up. Thank you for spreading the word those of you who have. Once again I saw so many beautiful outfits, most of which made me crave Spring. And I saw a trend emerging from the linkup: lots of cold shoulders. But more on that on Friday's post. Here are my top favorites for the week (below).
This week's featured blogger is Rachel from Threads for Thomas. Rachel linked up this gorgeous Outfit featuring a Crochet White Midi Skirt which she styled it in the most chic way possible with a baby blue (Serenity) crisp button-down knotted on the front. I am also dying over her nude ghilly heels. Rachel is a very stylish and sophisticated mom to two toddler boys. You might remember her from my Special Mommy+Toddler Easter post. Despite being a busy mamma to two little ones, she is almost always seen in high heels. This girl always rocks nudes and this year's IT colors: Rose Quartz and Serenity. Make sure you check out her gorgeous outfit and start following her if you don't. Also, she runs a Style Linkup on Fridays with two other fashionable mom bloggers. Clearly, I am loving midi skirts paired with pretty blouses because I chose to feature similar outfits from two different bloggers two weeks in a row. (Amy's Outfit had the baby blue skirt with the white blouse, flip-flopped indeed.)
Katie is 'Saving Face' with that fun blouse. She kept it artsy with her geo-patterned skirt and retro car clutch.
Lee is very much 'Beach Ready' in her t-shirt dress, colorful tote, fedora and tassel necklace.
Alyssa Renee blogged a 'Yellow Floral Lace Dress' which she accessorized with the perfect nude leather bag with fun pom charm.
P.S. Linking up with Alice, Allison, Amanda, Brenna with Grace + Jenna, Brooke with Erica, Carrie with Jill, Claire, Elle with Jacqueline, Elizabeth, Grace,
Jalynn, Katherine, Lauren, Leeanne, Linda, Lindsey, Lisa, Liz, Madeline, Monica, Nicole, Rebecca, Sarah, Mix+Match Fashion, Stephanie with Jessica, Michelle + Whitney, Tara, Vicki, and Victoria.
And now join the linkup!

I'm so jealous of everyone who can pull off Pixie pants...which feels like everyone but me! They just fit me strangely. I'll have to live vicariously through you!
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing for the longest time. This was only my first pair. The ones prior to these that I had tried (3 different pairs and 3 different sizex for each) none of them were flattering on or fit me well. I don't think all Pixie Pants are made the same and to tell you the truth I like their newer pant: the Harper.
DeleteAnyway, thanks for stopping by and don't forget to link up your latest pretty outfit. Thank you.
The color of this top is great on you!
ReplyDeleteAda I love these pants!! I have them too!! Now I just need your top!! LOL Great look!!

Great blog Ada, and what a darling little princess you have! Oh,she's cute! I am in love with your booties, and you have totally inspired me to pull out my floral pants! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great look! The booties are so fun, and I just love the marled tee! I wore a marled tee (well, actually a tunic) this week, also. Love that textured-look. I'm hoping to finish up my post so I can link up with you this week. I've hit a bit of a lull with blogging the last couple of weeks. Not enough time in the day, it seems. But I did decided to sneak a few minutes to visit some of my favorite bloggy friends tonight! :) -- Amy @ http://thegiftedgabber.com/
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much for visiting me here and for your super sweet words. I am also behind on several blog posts from many of the bloggers I follow (story of my life lol). Once the time is up, check the strip and compare it with the result panel for the results. Two lines: This represents a negative test result.
