Black Sequined Glamour for New Year's Eve.

Happy first Monday of 2016 to everyone! I hope your first weekend of this New Year was nice, loving and relaxing! Mine was very uneventful and totally laid-back. I totally planned on writing out and posting this yesterday but besides a little relaxing, I was occupied taking care of some things for work and getting ready for this new week and a new year and I also did some organizing and cleaning in our bedroom. This morning, Vivian and I woke up super early. It is a snow day here, and a cold one at that. My mom had a problem with one of her tires so I went out and helped her so she made it to work on time, then Vivian and I took a long 2-hour nap and then had breakfast. So here I am, it is now lunch-time and I am finally getting around to this post. But if you missed my first recap of the year we left behind, you can catch up with that. There will be a second recap tomorrow and then a Currently post on Wednesday.
This outfit was worn on December 30th. My work-place had a laid-back Secret Santa luncheon in early December for Christmas but then they surprised us with a Fun Cocktail+Appetizers Glam Party to celebrate the Holidays and as an early New Year's Eve Party, for December 30th. Since the party was held at a Fancy Tapas and Cocktails Lounge and plus I knew I would have a very laid-back New Year's celebration at home, I chose to wear this Chic, Sexy and Glamorous Monochromatic Black Outfit with lots of sequins. Almost every piece comes from White House Black Market: Dress, Blazer, a Bracelet, Statement Earrings and the Shoes (most recently worn here). Actually the Sequined Chiffon LBD matches those Sequined Peep-Toe  Pumps to perfection. They were purchased a few years ago and belong to the same Holiday collection from WHBM. The Big Bow Silk Headband is actually from Club Monaco but at two different times I have seen identical headbands from White House Black Market. I chose a Red Bag on purpose for just a dash of color, so I carried this Patent Leather Snakeskin Patterned Clutch by Express. I snapped out these pictures before heading out the door around 6.45 PM. They didn't come out great but oh well. It was too cold and too dark to take outdoor photos also, so these will have to do. But what a great outfit this was and perfect for a first outfit on a New Year. I would totally wear this to a fancy NY Eve celebration also.
