Grunge in a Dress.
I cannot believe another month is gone and this year is almost half-way through. Though I celebrated a milestone birthday this month, plus my husband's birthday, 1/3rd of it was spent at the hospital so I am glad a new month is starting and technically it is the first month of Summer so Happy June and Happy June 1st - Children's International Day! I love my child so much and we will be joining her little party celebration at her daycare, a little later today.
Ohh, and if you like to do a Vacation or Traveling-based Guest Post for me next week, shoot me an e-mail. My address is ada.furxhi@gmail.com

This Outfit is another result of cooler Spring days, around here. This easy, popover shirtdress hasn't been worn since I was 9 months pregnant, if I am correct (and yes, it did fit then because it is an empire-waist and I never got really huge either lol). It somehow got lost in my closet which happens when you have a ton of clothes. I did something different with it and went for a little grunge style by layering my red buffalo shirt as a light jacket over it, and wearing these edgy brown boots with all the gold buckles. I am not sure what I think of the outfit, it is definitely very different from what I normally wear. What do you think?
Charcoal Gray, Light Cotton, Popover Shirt-dress: Terranova (similar by H&M, best deal), (2nd dressier option my H&M, fantastic deal, love this), (charcoal plaid option by Proenza Schouler, on sale), (in light gray herringbone by Jones New York, great deal, love this).
Red+Black, Buffalo Plaid, Long-Sleeve Button Down Shirt: Terranova (very similar, comes in red or blue, love this), (very similar by Rails, Splurge), (similar pop-over, best deal, love this), (gorgeous option by J.Crew in red+blue, on sale, love this).
Brown Leather, Cut-Out Booties w/ Edgy Gold Buckles: Nordstrom (New) (similar by Target, come in black & brown, best deal), (similar, flat option by Timberland, love these), (similar, come in 2 colors, for a steal!), (fun option by Dana Buchman, great deal, love these).
P.S. I am linking up with Alycia, Angela, Carrie, Carylee + Gina, Cherie, Claire, Jess, Kristin, Laura,
And come back here on Tuesday June 2nd (tomorrow) and link-up with me and RACHEL from Garay Treasures.
Thank You and Happy first Monday of June!!
Fun look today Ada! I am a plaid addict, so I love this! Susan
ReplyDeleteThat plaid jacket is fantastic and it looks really good with that dress. I am so happy for June, too and hopefully this month you all will get to relax on vacation! We are going to Florida/Disney later this month and I can't wait! I wish I could do a guest post for you next week, but I just won't have time to get one together. Let me know if you ever need a guest post in the future and I'd love to do one.
