Print. Color. Texture.

It is our Easter today and the weather couldn't be any nicer. We also got a few family photos done and I cannot wait to share a few of them with you once I have them. I will try to keep it short and sweet since we will soon go for an Easter lunch at a local restaurant, after Vivian's nap.
While I am still remixing my top 10 pieces that I challenged myself with, this month, I am doing my best to follow every single prompt with Create 28 as well. Plus keep up with the themes of the Creative Closet and Trend Spin on Tuesdays and Spotlight of the Week on Thursdays. It is challenging but I have done it thus far. I wanted a chance to wear my Marsala Coated Jeans once more before putting them away until Fall. They paired so well with this Dark Navy Striped Sweater (the item from my Top 10 picks), a Classic, Navy Ponte Blazer and my Ikat-Print Watercolor Blueish-Lavender Scarf. This is one of my most favorite scarves I own and my collection is huge. But I won't wear it again soon because I want to wear several other Scarves, including a couple of new ones I got this month (which I love) and the one I included in my top 10 items. This outfit was all in the Blue and Purple color families, so I added some Mustard Bow Ballet Flats which had been ignored for a long while. I loved the results of this. The prompt yesterday and today for Create 28 is Styling Scarves. I have another way to style a scarf, coming on the blog tomorrow, following yet another prompt - Dresses. The Top 10 item is the Striped Breton Sweater. And I found so many beautiful options similar to my pretty Ikat Watercolor Lavender/Blue Scarf (all for great deals), so look at the itemized details and links, below. What do you think of today's look?
She loves chocolate just as much as mommy. Gorgeous face!
She is even more adorable when laughing. Little one was laughing so hard, here.
I love when she copies my poses. It's fun having a little girl. Mine is real sassy too. LOL
This outfit is full of Prints (pattern mixing Breton Stripes with Ikat/Chevron Patterns), Colors (Navy, Sky Blue, Purple, Lavender, Burgundy and Mustard) as well as Textures (Coated Jeans, Wool, Satin, Velvet and Ponte).
Navy+White Striped, Boat-Neck Sweater w/ Silver Button Detail on the Sleeves & Shoulders: White House Black Market (similar colorblocked option, best deal, love this), (similar, on sale, love this), (gorgeous turtleneck option by Ralph Lauren, great deal, love), (similar by Rag & Bone, Splurge).

Vivian's Outfit:
Gray+White, Fair Isle Knit Tunic Dress: Babies R' Us.
Gray Leggings: A Local Children's Boutique.

P.S. Linking up with Cherie, Claire, Doranda, Erin, Good Random Fun, Jen,
Plus on Wednesday I am linking up with Rachel who along-side some other blogger is co-hosting a themed link-up and on Wednesday April 15th the theme is Colored Pants. I am glad my Coated Burgundy Jeans qualify.

Have a Fantastic Sunday and a great start to a New Week, everyone!
