Currently Wearing: Dress and Moccasins.
I talked in my last post about how hard it is to dress these days. IRL yesterday I wore a button-down shirt, a sweater, a scarf, a coat and a beanie. Well, this outfit I am posting today is what I am CURRENTLY wearing as I type this. Yep, you read that right. This happens seldom for me to post outfits I am currently wearing that day. As a matter of fact I have tons of un-blogged outfits, many of which are still on the Wintery side but I could't resist posting this today. I took a pair of my Moccasins out and I am wearing them out today.
I took these moccasins out of one of my shoe closets (yes, I have more than one, but all 3 of them are pretty small) in hopes of wearing them soon. I am glad I finally had the chance today. This pair is a dusty rose and they are real suede leather, purchased many years ago from Payless. They are super comfortable and cute. They always get complimented on when I wear them (including today) and people think they are from Minnetonka. And I tried them on with this Houndstooth Dress. I think my first time wearing these with a dress. I was on the fence at first, but later on I liked the urban, semi-casual effect of this work outfit. Of course, it is not time yet for a Sleeveless Dress so I wore my Gray Cardigan splattered with sequins on top. And my Tights are actually a sheer eggplant or aubergine. I added a Dainty Black Beaded Necklace and my Black 360 Bubble Studs. Yay or nay for pairing Moccasins with a Dress? I would really love to know, thanks.

Well hello! Happy Thursday to you! Your grey outfit is quite cheery, just like your smile!
ReplyDeleteI do most of my outfit posts the weekend before and I do not wear them that day... but, I probably have worn them in the past or definitely in the future. It is fun to read how others schedule their blog posts and I love that this outfit is an actual outfit you are wearing today. When I did the 30x30 challenge, ALL of those outfits were outfits I was wearing that actual day. This outfit is one of my faves of yours, I really love the sequin cardi and the light grey blends perfectly with that gorgeous houndstooth dress... and the moccasins are SO perfect with it!!!

This is the cutest outfit. Love the houndstooth dress with the sparkly cardigan. I think this outfit works for both the office and a night out just by swapping out the moccasins with heels. ~Cynthia
