Mom Wear to Work Wear: Baby Pink Cardigan with Ruffles.

Happy First Monday of February! January totally flew by us. I am sure February will go super fast, also. I have a fun month of Outfits ahead. Touches of Pink, Red and some other Romantic elements too, for the month of love. =) But, today is time for another "Mom Wear to Work Wear Post". In this one I am remixing my Baby Pink Fitted Cardigan w/ the Chiffon Ruffle detail on the front. But I created two outfits a little bit outside the box for a Cardigan (I think).
These two Outfits look quite different, yet that Baby Pink Cardigan is in common between the two. As much as these Outfits are different what they have in common is the comfort level. I felt very comfortable and put together in both of these looks featuring pants. First, I layered my Baby Pink Cardigan over a Long Mixed-Media, Beige/Nude Blouse. The Blouse is Chiffon on the back and on the Sleeves but it is Knitted in the front with small sequins splashed all over it. It also has a Fun Mandarin Collar. I am wearing these Ponte B+W Rose Skinny Pants or Leggings, for the first time. (They can be called Pants since they have pockets on the back and they are quite thick, too.) Topping it off with my Big Bow Ivory Headband. For the Work Look I layered the Cardigan underneath my Hot Pink Blazer. I have worn Cardigans under Blazers before, but not too often. I like how the 2 pinks play off each-other. I kept the bottom part neutral with my Dressy Black Pants and Oxford Wedges. As you can see both of these Outfits have subtle romantic touches as a nod to Valentine's Day. Good way to start off February, no? What do you think? Do you own a Girly, Ruffled Baby Pink Cardigan like mine?

Nude/Soft Beige Long-Sleeve, Chiffon+Knit Blouse w/ Sequins & Gold Studs: Koton (New) (similar, best deal), (similar, embroidered, great deal), (signature style bu Equipment, love this, Splurge), (gorgeous silky option by The Limited, on sale, love this).
Ivory, Grossgrain Ribbon Headband Featuring a Wide, Double-Bow: Forever 21 (very similar, love this), (similar, dressy), (similar from cloth, elastic option, best deal).

Hot Pink, Velvet Blazer w/ Gold Buttons: Old Navy (similar by Charlotte Russe, great deal), (similar, on sale), (gorgeous, long BF style, love this).

P.S. Linking up with Amber, Angela, Jana, J., Jen, Lindsey, Laura, Lauren, Rachel, Rhea, Shanna, Whitney and Zaz.
Cheers to a new Monday, new week, new month and brand-new February. One month gone from 2015 already!
And this week's theme over at Trend Spin Weekly is Pink. I think the second outfit especially totally qualifies, no? I am linking up with Laura for it.

  4. Your work wear look is very cute, it was a clever move to use a cardigan as a top under the jacket. I would have never thought of it.
