Houndstooth, Bright Pink and Pearls.

Happy Hump Day!! Let's start off by saying that I love Today's Outfit. And the makeup and the hair (it was freshly-colored and trimmed, that day). It was a great day style-wise let's put it that way. Or better yet a great Stylish Evening since this was an evening Outfit that I wore a few weeks ago for a dinner+drinks+live music Girls' Night Out to celebrate one of my Best Friend's Birthdays. 

I snapped the photos with my other camera and it took me a while to post this. But, what usually happens when I like an Outfit is take a lot of photos of it. Plus my husband was home that evening playing daddy duty so I could enjoy a little me time. He ended up taking the pictures for me.

I took this Flower Basket to the Birthday Girl that evening. It ended up making such a pretty decoration in the middle of our table, as we dined in. And she loved the arrangement, also.

So, last Fall my mom sent me some clothes (shopping my closet from her house) and I am so glad this Houndstooth Gray+Black Sheath was one of the pieces she mailed me. This Sleeveless Ponte Sheath comes with the Black Belt. I have purchased it from Charlotte Russe about 6 years ago. It looks pretty expensive and it is nicely-made. I did wear it a few times to work and a couple of times for going out at my last job in the States. But, it hadn't been worn in a long while. Finally I re-wear it. I paired it with my Bright Pink Velvet Blazer and Matching Pink Tights. Between the Houndstooth and the little Chevron Pattern on the Tights, there is a little subtle print-mixing here. I am also happy I purchased these Marsala Oxford Pumps in the beginning of last Fall. They seem to go with so much. I plan on doing an entire Marsala Week in March so you will see them again, soon. I wore some Dangly Pearl Earrings, a Pearl Necklace and a few Pearl Bracelets to finish off this Elegant, Dressy Look. Like I said I loved the outcome. Do you? Do you own a Houndstooth Sheath?
