Velvet. Silk. Leather. Wool.

Hello everyone. How was your Monday? It was the last Monday of January and this is the last week of January, can you believe it?
I am back again with another dress and one of my Winter Blazers, today. This Outfit is all about mixing Textures: Velvet - the Blazer, Silk - the Dress, Leather - the Boots and Wool - the Scarf. Now, this Dress is totally Summery. It is Sleeveless, in a light Silk material. However it does have a thin lining. I made it warm enough layered with my Blazer and that Infinity Wool Scarf (the right pop of Color to this Neutral Look). The Scarf is Teal with speckles of Purple and it has a few sequins also (which are hard to see). I also accessorized with Cognac Boots (which go with everything), Rose Bud Studs, a Butterfly Cocktail Ring and some Bright Red Lipstick. Do you own a Leopard or Snow Leopard Dress? I found many adorable Gray/Snow Leopard Dresses (which I linked below) with different price options, also.
Dressy, Gray, Velvet Blazer w/ Ruffle Trim: White House Black Market (gorgeous option w/ black collar, great deal, love this), (similar, gorgeous dressy option, Splurge), (similar, on sale, love this).
Burgundy, Metallic, Butterfly Cocktail Ring w/ tiny Silver Stones: c/o American Fashion & Jewelry (similar, colorful, great deal), (similar in faux gold, best deal, love this).
Black, Thick, Opaque, Fleece-lined Tights: Random Street Vendor (New) (identical from Topshop, love these), (similar by Steve Madden, best deal), (gorgeous dotted option by The Limited, love these).

I will be back next with a Two-fer Post and after that a Pinterest-Inspires Post. Thanks for reading!

  14. Yes, I own a dress with snow/grey leopard pattern. The fitted velvet blazer goes very well with the dress, I like how it kinda reminds you of how it could feel to touch a leopard. Here the temperatures aren't really high enough to get away with a sleeveless dress and just a blazer (even velvet) so I would probably layer a shirt underneath.

And I am always amazed how much fast time seems to pass with every additional year.

  15. You are such a master at mixing and matching different textures and fabrics! I am not very good at styling blazers and I am always looking for help in this area. I don't own a snow leopard piece either - love this!! You look lovely and warm!! Susan
