First Mommy+Daughter Style Post of 2015: Velvet Girls.
Happy First Sunday of the year everyone! How has your weekend been so far? I did a lot of work around my home yesterday, rather than that a lot of relaxing mostly, since Dec 31st. It has been nice. It will be tough going to work tomorrow after 5 days off. It has been great spending all this time with my baby girl at home. We don't see each-other as much with me going to work and her to daycare.
So, for our first Mommy+Daughter Outfits of 2015, the two of us are wearing Velvet. We both happened to wear Velvet on the same day - me a blazer and Vivian a festive dress. So, I snapped photos of the two of us as well as some of Vivian after picking her up from daycare that day. Vivian's favorite toy is the iPad or any tablet for that matter. I put Pocoyo, Teletubbies or some Nursery Rhymes playing for her and that usually makes her happy and keeps her busy for a while. You will see from the pictures, she wasn't paying attention to me. She was too busy with the iPad lol. I, of course wore my Outfit to work and it was pretty Festive for December. Like I do often, I am faking a suit by pairing my Grayish-Silver Velvet Blazer with my Gray Ponte Mini Pencil Skirt. I wore a Burnt Orange/Red Animal-Print Blouse underneath and accessorized with a Crystal Silver Long Necklace and a Silver Swaroski Hair Clip. What do you think of our Festive Velvet pieces? Do you own a Velvet Blazer, what about a Light Gray Blazer? A Gray Blazer is a must I think - a classic, versatile piece to have.
