22 of 30: Pretty Blue Details and the Cutest Little Pigtails.
Posting late today guys because we had a major power outage due to some rain, for a few hours earlier today. The good thing that came out of this, I became very productive and cleaned out, organized and purged my husband's closet. It is all neat, tidy and organized now and ready for the Spring/Summer season. And yesterday I started and almost finished the baby's closet. And I started on my own last week, as I previously mentioned on the blog. However, mine is by far the one that needs most work, especially the part of getting rid of stuff. But I have started and made some progress so that counts for something.
So, let's get to the Outfit. Nifty little title hmmm? In the first part about the little details I am referring to the Pretty Details that make up Today's Outfit. As far as Cute Pigtails those belong to Vivian of course. I am sharing a few photos of hers from her second Easter a few days ago. She is rocking a New Minnie Outfit gifted to her by her Aunt with some Mary Janes and Pigtails. She is too adorable for words. As far as my Outfit I am once again wearing my Dazzling Blue Pencil Skirt. I am referring to it by the name Pantone gave this Color for Spring/Summer 2014. I just love this Skirt so much and I am so glad I included it in my 30 items. It literally goes with anything I included. But doesn't it looks like a perfect pair with the Polka Dot B+W Cardigan that has Dazzling Blue Chiffon Rosettes on the neckline, off the side!? Oh yes it does. And I did some mixing+matching with my Floral Turquoise Necklace & Studs. How do you like it?

Here are all the little details in different shades of Blue: Cute Buttons - My Sweater has Black Enamel Buttons with a Gold rim while the Skirt has Gold Buttons; Polka Dots both on the Cardigan and on the Ballet Flats; Turquoise Flowers - the Necklace and the Studs. This all adds to a little bit of Nautical inspiration.
Pros: I love the Girly Polka Dots, the Floral details of the Cardigan that I repeated via the Jewelry. I love all the different shades of Blue and how happy they make me. I love the Fresh White. I love the Nautical vibe.
Cons: None. I love it all.
White w/ Black Polka Dots, 3/4-Sleeve Cardigan w/ Royal Blue Chiffon Rosettes: White House Black Market.
Cobalt, Ponte Pencil Skirt w/ Gold Buttons off the Left side (on the front): The Limited (New).
Flower, Baby Blue, Statement Necklace: Aldo's Accessories.
Baby Blue, tiny Rose, Metallic Stud Earrings: Viggos.
Silver, Crystal/Rhinestone Hair Clip: Swarovski (New; Gift).
Navy+White, Suede Leather, Pointy Toe Ballet Flats: Gap.
And here is Ms. Vivian in her Brand-New Outfit she wore for Easter, this year. We had a laid-back Easter at home. We had Dinner with my in-laws. So no Dress for Vivian as we had originally planned, since we weren't able to go to church. We did get to dress up a little for our Easter Dinner at home, though.
Vivian's Outfit:
Gray "Minnie Mouse" Sparkly Tulle, Tiered Tunic + Hot Pink Polka Dot Leggings w/ Gray Tulle Hem (together as a Set): Disney Baby (Gifted; New).
1 Lavender & 1 Fuchsia Logo Silky Bow Hair Clips: A Local Boutique.
Hot Pink Mary Janes w/ Multi-Colored Chiffon Flowers: Target.
P.S. I am linking Vivian's Outfit for the Pastels Trend Spin this week. I am linking my Outfit with Kileen, Kathrin, Sarah, Lindsey, Shanna, Alissa and Melaina.

You're right about this skirt, it looks great with so many pieces in your challenge. I love it with the polka dot cardi!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good color blue, Ada. And I love the polka dots. And look at Vivian's cute pig tails. I couldn't do anything with Laila's hair for about 2 1/2 years. It took a while for it to grow in.
