My First Style Swap: No Longer Neglected Gray Sweater Dress
I basically had the same pieces in my closet waiting for me to be worn similarly. But of course this is also Neglected Items Week for me so the Sweater Dress I re-created Jess' Outfit with, had been neglected since early November 2012. These Tall Leather High Heel Boots were also ignored and I can't even recall/find the last time they were worn on the blog. I knew they were in my Boots/Winter Shoes Closet but since being pregnant and afterwards I have rarely worn heels. It is way easier as a mom strolling a baby, with Flats or at the most Wedges. I have Flat, Riding Black Boots, but I wanted the Outfit to have a little bit of a Dressier feel especially since I wore it on February 19th when Vivian was 13 months and the weather was gorgeous out too. I don't have a True Red Blazer but my Deep Berry Red Blazer worked out fine. I have a Long Pendant Circle Necklace but decided to wear my New Fish Pendant Necklace I purchased in early January to show it some loving. What do you think of Jess' Outfit and my re-creation of it? I think we both did an excellent job - sorry I am not being Modest LOL. Jess also re-created one of my Outfits today (Brown Sweater & B+W Printed Pants Outfit). Check it out here!
I had to take some photos with Baby Viv since this day was when she turned 13 months old!
(And I wanted to show you a version with my Blazer Buttoned up. I think I like it better Unbuttoned, what do you think?)
Short-Sleeve, Medium-Gray Sweater Dress w/ Cable-Knit Crochet on Top: The Limited.
Cherry Red, Corduroy, Long-Sleeve Blazer: Old Navy.
Silver Pendant Fish Necklace in a White Silk Rope: A Random Street Vendor (it was 2 Bucks!)
Black, Medium-Opaque Tights: Old Navy.
Pointy, Black Leather, High-Heel, Tall Boots w/ Buckle Detail: Worthington (JC Penney's).
