Thursday Moda #195: Mommy+Me Christmas Outfits - Special Holiday Collaboration.

Christmas is one week away from today! WOW!! Tomorrow, my last present for Vivian should be arriving home via mail. This year I purchased all the 4 things she asked for, online. Amazon and Walmart for the win! Speaking of Christmas, just like last year, the beautiful Illinois blogger and mom Laura and her gorgeous little girl Claire are joining Vivian and I for a special Mommy+Me Christmas post. Last year we got totally cozied up in our PJs, however this year we both decided to look more put-together and dressed up a little. During our Thanksgiving post, Laura and her daughter, as well as Viv and I all styled Leopard which was unplanned, this time around for Christmas all four of us wore Red+Black and again it was not planned. I will talk about our outfits a little bit more in detail, below, but first I want to say how elegant, fancy and beautiful Laura and Claire look. Laura totally dressed up an LBD with stunning red stilettos, a matching purse, a red statement necklace and red lipstick of course, while little first grader Claire looked adorable in her Buffalo Plaid Print Dress and Mary Jane Flats.

MOMMY + ME  CHRISTMAS  OUTFITS  -  SPECIAL  HOLIDAY  COLLABORATION.
Vivian and I got to wear our very festive, Christmasy Outfits this past Sunday, during a beautiful afternoon we got to spend Downtown Northville, MI, the same day my sweet Vivian got to meet Santa Claus as well. I wanted her to look festive, bright and adorable, like the little 6-year old girl that she is. The Holiday edition of this Peppa Pig Dress did the trick with its little navy velvet bow on the front and the tulle overlay on her skirt. Vivian wore it over her gray "Love" leggings and her burgundy leather boots that have the cutest bows in the back. The frills of her little pink socks peaked out from the back of the boots. Since Vivian was going to take pictures with Santa I wanted her hair to look beautiful and festive too. I recently ordered these velvet bows from Amazon (a set of 12 or 14 for around 16 bucks). They come in a variety of colors and are very well-made. I went for an ombre look by styling 3 bows in Vivian's hair: red, mauveish-pink and blush pink. Check out Vivian's picture with Santa Claus for this year, below. I wanted to also look festive yet be cozy and warm since we would be walking a lot outside and it was around 30 degrees but not sunny. Underneath my outerwear I styled my new gorgeous penguin sweater by Loft (I love that little penguin family - penguins are the ultimate Winter animal) and I styled it with straight-leg black corduroy pants. But I wanted to focus a little on my little sneaker booties that are perfect for rainy and snowy weather, too. They are colorblocked with black, tan and red buffalo plaid. And these adorable boots are from the Cat and Jack's kids line purchased last year. I happened to find them on clearance for under 8 bucks and they are a girls size 5 which is equivalent to a women's size 7 (which is usually what I wear in boots and Winter shoes). I also chose a bright lipstick. I loved our Casual but Warm yet very Festive Red Christmas Looks, perfect for a casual weekend mommy+daughter little date with my little lady, don't you think?!

Vivian and I wanted to take a minute to wish little Claire Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas. Claire happens to share the same birthdate with Jesus!

Thank you for liking my Festive Red+Pink Outerwear Outfit last week. And thank you so very much for linking up and not forgetting about my linkup, as I have been very absent on this blog of mine, this year. But my hopes and plans are to change all that for 2020. Let's hope so! As far as my favorite outfits featured this week go, besides the word FESTIVE I can categorize them into two things: Christmas Trees + Dresses. Let's take a look, below.

In a 'Sequin Holiday Dress' Christine lights up like a royal blue sparkling present in front of her very pretty and classic gold+red Christmas tree. Love her look head to toe and such gorgeous, festive photos, too.
In a 'Mustard Satin Shift Dress for the Holidays' Jess is ready to embrace Christmas, playing dress-up by pairing her dress with patterned tights and a printed retro bag. I love the drop balloon sleeves on her dress.
Ready to send those Christmas cards out Kim?! New mom and new dad are wearing matchy 'Christmas Pajamas' in front of their tree filled with fun ornaments and even presents under it.
Always-elegant Di shared three very chic work looks in a color she described as 'Cheddar Like the Cheese'. Warm tones suit her but I bet bright Christmas colors would as well.
