The Sunday Showcase Linkup, March 2018.

Happy March and Welcome to our first Sunday Linkup, properly titled "The Sunday Showcase" because we are here to showcase anything, not just pretty outfits. This linkup is a collaboration among myself and my very good blogging buddies: the always-kind and sunny Floridian KELLYANN from This Blonde's Shopping Bag and the beautiful, spiritual Georgia peach CHRISSY from Granola and Grace who will be joining me this Sunday and every first Sunday of each month. Today, we even have our very first co-host and that is the bold and encouraging SHELBEE from Shelbee on the Edge. Who better than dear Shelbee to co-host with us today?! I think all four of us are pretty good friends and we have ALL collaborated many times in the past together, including ALL of the previous Fall and Winter collabs, as well as the more recent February collab. Besides, dear Shelbee is such a positive voice in the blogging world and so good about spreading the word and the love when it comes to linkups, especially a new linkup. Just this week she wrote a post about the importance of linkups as bloggers and how much they grow your following, readership and clicks. For our very first showcase, Shelbee, Chrissy and myself are showing you some recent outfits and I feel like these outfits are totally what defines our personal style. While the enchanting Kellyann is finally "showcasing" her beautiful kitchen remodel which I cannot wait to see!

THE  SHOWCASE  MARCH  OUTFIT.

For my very first Sunday Showcase (March 2018) I have on an outfit that totally defines the elegant aspect of my style. Though you see more casual outfits in this blog, you all know I love dressing up. Dresses+skirts call my name often and this outfit was no exception. The outfit was worn this Monday when our week started off with temps in the mid to upper 50s. That is why I wasn't freezing my butt off either lol. My work environment is quite casual, heck I can even wear light-distressed jeans as long as I dress them up a little. But my fancy, dressy, feminine self has to be represented as well. I try to dress up on Mondays especially, because like most people I have a million things to do on a Monday (after a Sunday off) and it is not my favorite day. Plus we always have a meeting, which is also quite long. A good, put-together, kick-ass outfit, like this one today, makes me kick off Mondays with a bang! In this outfit I am wearing mostly old wardrobe pieces, except my Star-Printed Sheer Black Tights (Steve Madden from DSW and they are stunning and well-made, I linked the on my shopping widget at the bottom of this post) and this Elegant Black Blazer with Silver Embroidered Floral Motif on the sleeves (this blazer which is on huge sale right now, too - by Who What Wear via Target) which are both fairly new. But rather than that my Gold Clutch is from Express, my Frayed/Fringe Winter White Mini Skirt and my Black Tulle Shell with the Oversized Rosette are by The Limited (Rest in Peace). I love a good black and white outfit - always fresh, modern, classy and chic. But my black+white outfit is definitely not boring and mixes lots of textures between the 3D pattern of the tights, the fringed mini skirt, the embroidery on the blazer and that super fun+sexy tulle. I kept my Jewelry simple by wearing a few rings including that Gold Pave Rose Crystal Cocktail Ring, the Rose Gold Dainty Elisa Necklace and some Ivory Pearl Studs. I also paired the black+white look with some Gold (Clutch and my jewelry is gold-toned).

Chrissy wore an outfit that describes her to a T since her style is casual but with a twist of edgy and bohemian, which is exactly the look above. Plus, Chrissy always layers perfectly and happens to love and wear a lot of olive, which is hands down one of my most favorite colors!

Kellyann showcased her kitchen remodel and what a beautiful kitchen it is. I just love the chandelier she picked out (above) and her entire kitchen is so fresh and clean and all bright and white. You should check it out!

Shelbee is always bold and daring when it comes to her style. This softest baby pink and burgundy outfit isn't for the fairest of hearts but it is perfect on our beautiful Shel. I love the OTK boots and her Boho dress.

Now, Join our Brand-New "The Sunday Showcase" and have funnnn!!
