The Sunday Showcase Linkup, April 2018 - Easter Looks.

Happy April 1st - both Easter Sunday and April Fools' Day!! Today is the second linkup for "The Sunday Showcase" which as you know I started last month (in March) alongside my very good friends: the always-kind and sunny Floridian KELLYANN from This Blonde's Shopping Bag and the beautiful, spiritual Georgia peach CHRISSY from Granola and Grace. Our first linkup last week was a huge success with over 90 outfits linked. That is also thankfully to our very first fabulous co-host, the very dear SHELBEE from Shelbee on the Edge. Today Chrissy, Kellyann and I (with my daughter Vivian) are showing you cute Easter looks. Not at all planned, but we all chose to style Fun Springy Dresses. And I must say both of my lovely co-hosts look beautiful and so dressy in their looks. I - for once lol - dressed down my Cute Red Floral Dress.

THE  SHOWCASE  APRIL  OUTFIT.
As you can tell by all the greenery surrounding us and all the flowers blooming, these photos are taken when the weather was warm, hot actually. These outfits are from last Summer and never blogged before. I totally planned to shoot a couple of Easter-Inspired Mommy+Me Looks this week, for the blog, including a couple of dresses for us. But the weather in general has been very chilly, rainy and gray. And the only day it was kind of nice, my Vivian was in preschool all day. But I figured these never-before-posted outfits we wore last Summer would be perfect for today because if the weather was nice, I would have totally worn a similar Floral Dress and would have dressed up Vivian in a pretty dress, too. My Gorgeous Red Floral Shirtdress is from Express - love the blue, white and periwinkle flowers in it. It matched so well with those Multi-Colored Beaded + Pom Pom Sandals by Target and I added a couple of Plastic Beaded Bracelets and a Watermelon Bracelet (it is Vivian's) with Turquoise Crystal Drop Earrings, a Dainty Blue Globe Pave Necklace and that Adorable Cream Mini Bucket Bag. It turned into such a cute look. For Easter I'd probably wear nude, cream, white or navy flats or pumps and probably a cute cardigan over it (in blue or lavender).

But let's face it, the show-stealer in this post is my gorgeous daughter Vivian. I didn't even edit (at all) most of her photos. She is like a naturally-born super model in these shots. Just like mommy, she looks amazing in red. Her Red Eyelet Off-Shoulder Dress looks stunning on her! I want one in my size (for real!!). Vivian wearing this dress by Target's Genuine Kids line, got rave reviews (and a ton of compliments) when I originally posted it on Instagram, last Summer. Target took sight of it and posted my gorgeous girl on their website wearing this lovely dress. My little Target model. I did Viv's hair in a big top bun with a Fun Navy Gingham Bow and she accessorized with her Real Leather Rosette Baby Blue Bag and Baby Blue Flip-Flop Sandals. She even wanted to wear some makeup that day -- look at her mascara, eyeliner and red lipstick.

Vivian's Outfit:
Bright Red Off-Shoulder Eyelet Dress: Genuine Kids via Target (Gorgeous Chambray option w/ Anchor Print, Huge Steal, want this).
Genuine Leather Baby Blue Rosette Mini Bag: Vintage (looks as brand new) (Fun Seahorse Option for Spring/Summer, Huge Steal, want this!).
Red+White Chevron Hair Barette: Meijer's (similar bow option).
Navy+White Chevron Bow Bun/Ponytail Holder: A Boutique in Albania (very similar, set of 2 in red + light pink).
Baby Blue+Coral Rubber Flip-Flop Sandals: Carter's (Very Similar, Great Deal).

Kellyann wore a dress in the IT color of the year. Not only is the lavender stunning with her blonde hair, but this Feminine Dress is super flattering too in that classic wrap-style. The ruffled hemline and ruffled-sleeve make it flirty and I love that she chose nude sandals with it. Her legs look amazing!

Chrissy is also thinking Floral Dresses this Easter. I love that her outfit is both dressy yet casual enough. And Olive Green is always stunning on her. If you stop by her post, you will see more than one way she styled this stunning Olive Floral Dress. I love the Peek-a-Boo Lace Bralette showing from the back. Kellyann and Chrissy, give me some of that warm Southern sunshine!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST...
Here are my favorite two posts linked up last month for our March Sunday Showcase! Stop by Kellyann's and Chrissy's blogs to see who they featured!
In their "Exploring La Jolla" post, Katherine and Brandon who blog together as a couple, not only showed us this gorgeous Californian town but looked splendid in their coordinated looks while doing so. I am in love with Katherine's Polka Dot Dress and how she styled it with those Nude Laceup Flat Sandals. The Yellow Earrings pop!
Chanda linked "These Boots Were Made for Walking" and considering her clothes are black and the boots are a vivacious bright shade of red in an Over-the-Knee Style, those boots are indeed conversation pieces. I love that she put a sexy+edgy spin to an Athleisure Look.

  1. Ada, before I started reading and just saw your photos, I was like "How in the world is she wearing this dress with bare legs?!" I am freezing right now and I know and I know your climate is similar to mine! But then I read and was like "A-ha. Well played, my friend." In any event, you and Vivian both do look so amazing in red! And your accessories (sandals, jewelry, and bag) are all so very wonderful and fun! No can we just get the warm weather to finally arrive?! Happy Easter!

  3. You and Vivian are precious in your red! I was shocked when I saw the pictures because they look like Spring - ha! It all made sense when I read they were from last Summer, lol. I thought the snow melted pretty quickly and everything grew rapidly.
In any case, red is your color and I love the floral print. The dress is the perfect length on you and shows off those legs my friend!!!! I LOVE that close up of sweet Vivian, those eyes of hers, oh my!!

  22. However, and this is important to take note of, detox teas heavily affect your pee’s natural composition by changing its creatinine levels. When lab technicians see this, you carry the risk of being found out as someone trying to tamper with your drug test results. Not at all. Mixing weed with alcohol—though fun— will do the exact opposite of detoxifying you of THC. In fact, alcohol has been known to even boost your THC levels, which makes you feel Mary Jane's hallucinogenic effects more strongly should you take the two substances at the same time. Yes, you can.
