Thursday Moda #66: Cold-Shoulder Dresses & Trendy Tops by Loft.

Welcome to another week of Thursday Moda. Today I am joined by a gorgeous blonde, a mother of two, a Floridian who loves color, pattern, pretty purses, fun jewelry and shopping at Loft as much as I do, the lovely KELLYANN from This Blonde's Shopping Blog. I am so glad I am co-hosting for the first time with this sweet lady who is a new blogger, but full of style and such a warm heart as you will see by checking out her blog. I mentioned we both love shopping at Loft, so today we decided to share two outfits showing off two of our recent picks from Loft.

First, our colorful and fun cold-shoulder dresses. Mine has a coral toile print and besides the ivory/cream accessories I went for some Turquoise Earrings, too. Great minds think alike because Kellyann's dress is in a hot turquoise shade and she chose beautiful pink and coral accessories for it. Kellyann's Rainbow Pom Pom Clutch is the cutest!! Next, we are both wearing two trendy tops for Spring. Kellyann's has the big statement sleeves which are so in right now. And she chose gorgeous white beaded tassel earrings for it and cognac sandals which are similar to my own cognac sandals (once again we wore similar shoes without planning this ahead), which I chose to pair with my trendy top - featuring embroidery and ruffled sleeves. You can also check the details of both of Kellyann's pretty outfits and say hello to her, here.

To be honest I haven't worn this outfit (yet). I simply styled this dress for the blog, but this Gorgeous Toile-Print Coral Cold-Shoulder Dress says Garden Wedding doesn't it?! Especially the way I styled it with the Cream+Nude Accessories: Small Bucket Bag and Laceup Nude Stiletto Sandals - this would be perfect for a late Spring/early Summer wedding, as long as the invitation doesn't say black tie. Since this dress is a gorgeous statement piece on its own, I kept the accessories real simple. I added a pop of bright blue with Turquoise Crystal Teardrop Earrings (also current by Loft) and kept the rest of the jewelry simple, with just a Marbled Coral Enamel Cuff Bracelet in one wrist. The Hot Pink Mirrored Sunnies were a gift from a boutique in Albania a few years ago and they go so well with this outfit. Don't you like the styling of this Cold-Shoulder Floral Midi Dress for a wedding this season?! Go pick it up. It is currently on clearance.

Coral+Cream Botanic Rose Toile-Print Cold-Shoulder Midi Dress: Loft (New) (identical, on Sale), (dressy, neon pink lacy option, Steal, my Favorite), (similar, Great Deal), (similar in a maxi, Small Splurge, love this).
Hot Pink Framed Sunnies w/ Colorful Mirror Glasses: c/o A Boutique in Albania (very similar, Great Deal, love these), (similar, Great Deal), (gorgeous option, Small Splurge, my Favorite).
Turquoise, Skinny Teardrop Crystal Earrings: Loft (New) (identical, Steal), (similar by Loft, come in 4 colors, I own them in green, love these), (similar, on Huge Sale).
Bright Pink Matte Colour Riche Collection Lipstick: L'Oreal Exclusive "Liya's Pink" (identical, Huge Steal + I love it!!), (similar, Great Deal), (similar, Small Splurge, my Favorite).

This second outfit was worn the Sunday before Memorial Day on an afternoon outing at my cousins'. I cannot say I had paired white with ivory before but it worked. The Bucket Mini Skirt by Express has been in my closet for several years but it looked cute with my New Embroidered White Blouse by Loft. The floral embroidery on it is in red+blue so I was adding a little patriotism to this outfit. Vivian called the embroidered flowers "Christmas Trees" and she is right, because they are shaped like XMas trees. My child's observation amazes me. Even-though my Ghilly Sandals are in a Cognac shade this neutral outfit is monochromatic in my book. Last but not least, once again I wore my Bright Pink Lipstick by L'Oreal's (here) newest collection with celebrities. L'Oreal paired with 6-7 women and each of these women created their own version of pink, red or nude lipstick, etc. I picked up a couple lipsticks from this collection but I need more. Have you worn any pretty frilly embroidered tops lately and how have you styled them?!
White Flutter Sleeve Top w/ Cobalt+Red Embroidered Flowers: Loft (New) (identical, Great Deal), (similar, love this), (similar, on Sale, love this), (similar w/ red flowers, my Favorite), (similar, Splurge).
Pinkish-Red Large Square Stud Earrings: Kate Spade (identical), (very similar, my Favorite), (very similar in light blush pink, love these), (similar in neon pink).
Coral Beaded Bracelets w/ Teal Tassel: Pumps and Pushups (similar multi-stranded, Steal), (similar set of 3, Great Deal, love this), (similar here + here, Splurge).
Light Heather Gray Beaded Crystal Bracelet w/ Pave Coin Charm: The Limited (similar ombre option, Great Deal, love this), (similar, Steal, my Favorite), (similar, Splurge, love this), (similar, Huge Splurge).
Bright Pink Matte Colour Riche Collection Lipstick: L'Oreal Exclusive "Liya's Pink" (identical, Huge Steal + I love it!!), (similar, Great Deal), (similar, Small Splurge, my Favorite).
Cognac/Camel Faux Suede Block Heel Ghilly Sandals: Merona via Target (New) (identical + I love them!), (fun wedge option, Steal, love these), (similar, on Huge Sale), (similar espadrille wedges, on Sale, my Favorite).

Once again thank you for linking up with Thursday Moda last week. Over 115 outfits were linked but I narrowed it down to the five below. I cannot resist two colors that are having a moment this season: orange and light sky blue. And I am loving exposed shoulders, statement sleeves and embroidery if you cannot tell lol.
Her 'Denim Jumpsuit' features a frayed hem and culotte pants. It is edgy and on trend - exactly Shannon's style.
Emelia knows all about 'Day to Night Dressing'. Her gorgeous dress which looks like two pieces is just as great dressed down or fancied up.
Biana did an 'Instagram Roundup' with several cute Spring looks but I couldn't resist this one with the pinstriped one-shoulder embroidered top and bright orange clutch.
Melissa totally fooled me with her 'Monochromatic Palazzo Pants' because her lacy shell matches them perfectly, looking like a jumpsuit. Love her watercolor purse.
Jessica is the perfect girl to represent 'Fashion-Forward Mamas', wearing several trends into one pretty dress: gingham, sky blue, bell sleeves.

Today's Fabulous Thursday Moda Co-Host: This Blonde's Shopping Bag.
Below is a glimpse of some of my favorite recent outfits Kellyann has worn, mixing and matching separates. She loves a good ruffly top and a pretty necklace as much as I do. And I love those ombre sunnies she has worn each time.
From Kellyann's Mouth:
"This Blonde's Shopping Bag is a place for me to share what I wear and what I buy.  I have always loved shopping and now that my husband and I are almost empty nesters I have time to pursue a creative outlet.  My husband and I have been married almost 23 years and have 2 sons; one away at college and one about to start his senior year in high school.  So it's time for this momma to get a life, lol!  I am a licensed mental health counselor as well as an elementary school counselor and while I find my career fulfilling I have always been passionate about make up, hair, jewelry, and of course fashion!  The funny thing is that now, just days away from my 49th birthday, I am happier and more confident in my own skin than ever before.  To that end I hope to inspire others in the 40 and over age range to look forward to getting dressed and having fun while banishing the frump! Follow me on instagram @thisblondesshoppingbag and twitter @ThisBlondesBag."

Happy June Everyone! Welcome Summer!!
