Millennial Pink with a Touch of Olive (Look 15).

I am so glad that my main palette of colors during this Summer Capsule is half light pink or shades of blush and half light blue or baby blue. Our temperatures lately have been miserable: quite chilly, windy and rainy considering it is the end of June. We are talking highs of 65 or 70 if we are lucky and over-night it has been as low as 44-45 degrees. But I think these pretty, mellow, girly shades of pink are perfect to wear on what is supposed to be a Summer day, to brighten up your mood when it is raining. I love how the different shades of soft pink worked together here. The striped ruffle-sleeve Peter Pan blouse is more of a millennial pink (baby pink) shade while the skinny jeans are definitely blush. And my pretty beaded sandals featuring pom-poms matched the two teal+coral tassel bracelets I added.

Pale Pink+White Pinstriped Poplin Blouse w/ Ruffled Short Sleeves + Peter Pan Collar: c/o SheIn (New) (identical for a Huge Steal! comes in several prints; I want the pale blue gingham one!), (very similar as a dress, Steal, love this), (similar, on Sale, my Favorite), (similar, Small Splurge).
Coral Beaded Bracelet w/ Teal Tassel: Pumps and Pushups (similar multi-stranded, Steal), (similar set of 3, Great Deal, love this), (similar here + here, Splurge).
Olive Green Faux Leather Saddle Crossbody Bag: Merona via Target (similar, Steal, love this), (similar, on Sale, love this), (similar, Huge Splurge, my Favorite).

I am behind with outfit posts and today I missed on a Monday "Mom Wear to Work Wear" post I already had planned in my head, so you get a two-fer post and a second outfit, which has pieces that are not part of my capsule wardrobe actually. But due to the rain, the cold and that time of the month, I needed a break from my capsule pieces. My dresses, skirts, shorts and light-colored jeans I included in this capsule wouldn't cut it. Keeping with the 'remix my closet' theme, I wanted to show you how I have previously worn this exact outfit (first collage below) to work a couple of months ago and how I re-wore it again for a mom's day off. Gone are my black tortoise-heel pumps, dressy floral blazer, rosy cheeks and burgundy lipstick and instead I decided on cognac closed-toe mules and a nude lipstick.
Original Post (where I posted the outfit on the left - the Work Wear look).

This second outfit is not only relevant to the weather we have been having - I couldn't even take the photos outside due to the insane rain - but also to the first outfit from the capsule, because I have shown you guys several times now how well blush pink and olive green pair together. If you have not taken the plunge to try these two colors together, do so - you will thank me later. I also love how the brown cognac shade of the loafer booties go so well with the dark olive camouflage print.

Mauve/Blush Pink Chiffon Button-Down Blouse w/ Hidden Buttons: Mossimo via Target (identical, comes in many colors, Huge Steal), (similar w/ bell sleeves, Great Deal, love this), (similar in satin, on Huge Sale).
Blush+Ivory "Perla" Statement Necklace w/ Large Stones: Perry Street via Rocksbox (New) (gorgeous flower option, Fantastic Deal, love this), (dainty ombre option, Great Deal, my Favorite), (beautiful chandelier option, Splurge, love this).
Gold Tone Skinny "Hudson" Cuff w/ Clear Crystal Oval-Shaped Stones on the edges: Robyn Rhodes via Rocksbox (New) (similar in silver, Steal), (similar, Great Deal, love this), (similar, Splurge, my Favorite).
Pale Nude/Glowing Gold Soft Shimmer Lipgloss: 'NAKED' by Urban Decay in "Walk of Shame" (identical, love it!), (very similar), (similar, Splurge).

    1. I had ironed it first but the photos were taken after wearing it for a few hours and getting rained on, too. Sorry!
