Thursday Moda #49: Florals into Early Spring.

Welcome February - the shortest but also flirtiest month of the year! Today I start off the first day of this new month with a Fun, Flirty and Feminine Look featuring Florals+Lace. Not only is this outfit great to wear for a a date night on Valentine's day but it is also a great way to ease into Spring by starting to wear florals. To show you two different ways how we wore Florals into Early Spring, I have a Thursday Moda Co-Host today - AMY from Amy's Fashion Blog. Amy shows us an outfit that is both dressy yet casual enough by styling a Pretty Lavender Floral Skirt with lots of black. Amy, just like me is originally from Europe (Germany) and has lived for many years both in US and in Europe. Actually, for many years she called Michigan (my home state) home. Amy is known for her easy casual style since she works in a casual work environment. You can also find reviews on beauty products, pretty nails and recipes on her blog, besides her daily wear.

With some Christmas money and gift cards I added some new things to my wardrobe, lots of which you see today. My Lush Dress from Nordstrom was a steal, but since it is Winter and it is a Summer Dress I layered a Cropped Lace Tee underneath (love the edgy yet romantic sleeves) and some Marled Gray Tights that are thick enough to keep me warm. I opted for heels that are between a bootie and a sandal. Since they are a nude color, they go with everything and the material is suede which in my fashion world translates as season-less. But let's talk about the punctuation of this outfit - the Heart-Shaped Bag. It is red, it is bright, it has a fun long tassel as an exclamation point hanging right from the bottom (in the middle) and it is easy to carry because of the long crossbody strap. I love it, you can find it currently at Express. I added my Crystal+Baby Blue Stone Statement Necklace and some Crystal Studs and last but not least my Silver Ring features a heart+arrow band. I am also wearing a Sparkly Bow Headband in Silver and bows are girly and romantic. I love how this outfit turned out and I am not wearing red, pink, white, coral or burgundy. I still put together a Valentine-like outfit with just a touch of red. But I wish I would have worn one of my red lipsticks instead of a nude lip. What do you think?! Isn't floral and lace romantic to wear for Valentine's?! How are you easing into Spring style-wise?

From last week's linkup there were 100 outfits linked up and several I loved. I chose to feature some outfits that I think are great for this month of love and Valentine's day and you will notice that red, navy and pink were the colors that attracted me. A couple of ladies wrapped themselves up in gorgeous blanket ponchos and Winter hats while some others were all fancied up. Some of these ladies show us that yes you can wear a sweater over a dress to Winter-ize it.

This week's Featured Blogger is ROXANNE from Glass of Glam who is also wearing navy floral and lace since her new gorgeous dress features both. I always love what Roxanne puts together, whether dressed up like today mixing her flowers with leopard, or dressed down. And fun fact: Roxanne is the only blogger (so far) who has been the "featured Blogger of the Week" for Thursday Moda, twice. Last time I featured her, she also wore lace. Roxanne's outfit mimics my own from today since we both wore flirty dark floral dresses, though I layered mine with a lace top and hers incorporates lace. Roxanne is also easing her way into Spring by adding dark opaque tights, as well. Love how gorgeous her wavy hair looks and the layering of the two dainty necklaces. Her makeup is perfect for a head to toe girly, sexy and chic Valentine date night look. Make sure you check out Roxanne's blog and she just celebrated her birthday, too.

Grace shows '7 Ways to Wear a Dress' and my favorite is the tone-on-tone look with the navy sweater over it. Those adorable red ballet flats are perfect for a Valentine night.
Stephanie in 'A Pink Dress' matching her baby pink maxi to her baby pink rock studs. The turquoise necklace stands out and the whole ensemble is perfect for warm Valentine's day in Florida where she resides.
9 months pregnant and looking so gorgeous in burgundy, red and soft pink, Ani's 'Maternity Style' is one you need to emulate and take notes from.
Jacqueline's 'Cape Scarf' goes with everything and it is totally meant to partner up with her gray felt hat. Love the buffalo plaid cape and that cognac leather tote, too.
'One Dress Two Ways' and Bojana is both glam and casual with her navy+pink fancy floral dress topped off with a cranberry sweater, all dressed up with a sparkly bold necklace.

This Week's Thursday Moda Co-Host: Amy's Fashion Blog.
Here are some recent looks of Amy's that I liked. Like I mentioned she does casual real well but pays attention to even the smallest details: hair accessories, perfectly-painted nails, statement necklaces and cute earrings.
From Amy's Mouth:
"Hello, I'm Amy. I blog over at Amy's Fashion Blog.  Today I'm here with Ada to show you all how to transition floral print in to spring. Today I'm wearing this dark floral skirt I got from Zaful, with a long sleeve bodysuit. When it gets a little warm out, I will be switching the long sleeves out for a short or no-sleeves top. Plus, forgoing the tights."

  22. It also contains all the vital urine chemicals found in real human urine, like urea. You do have to mix the powder yourself, but the medical transport vial makes transporting the synthetic urine easy. • Sealed vial of powdered urine • Air-activating heat pads and self-regulated heating source • Reusable temperature strips • Transport vial after mixing the concoction • The powder is free of toxins, like biocide and other common artificial preservatives. • The characteristics of this fake pee, including its look and smell, behave as an extremely close chemical alternative to real human urine. • A separate mixing vial decreases the chance of cross-contamination between varying formulations.
