Little Navy Dress, Sporty Americana.

How was your Monday everyone? Hard to believe how fast September went and this is the last week of it. I never discuss politics here but we have to choose a new president soon. Did anyone catch part one of the presidential debate yesterday? I thought it was very interesting. They both made valid points. I think each candidate wants what is best for this country and its people but will they achieve it? Do you plan on voting the first Tuesday of November? I sure do. I think voting is one of the biggest rights we have as American citizens and shouldn't be taken for granted. How do you feel regarding this matter?

If you remember, a month ago, for the first time I showed you how I wore my new LND (Little Navy Dress) and it was for work. Back then I mentioned that a week later or so, I would show you a casual way to wear/style this dress. Just like last time, I paired the dress with red and white. Well a week went by, a month went by and I didn't post the casual look, until today. I have taken so many outfit photos this Summer that you guys haven't seen, because due to being super busy I have only posted about 3 new OOTDs a week (sometimes 4). Anyhow this is how I wore my LND on the weekend of Labor Day. I figured before September is over, I need to post these photos.

I went for a red, white and blue (lots of navy blue) patriotic look to celebrate this great country. Actually on the Friday of Labor Day Weekend, I wore this same exact outfit minus the floppy hat and with simple white pearl studs instead, to work. I didn't take photos of that. But then on Labor Day Monday I re-styled it the way you see it here. Love the navy pom charm in my red bag from Gap. I have an identical black crossbody like this too from H&M. I would love to own a camel one too, wish I bought the one Old Navy had this Spring. These tiny cross-body bags are still big and compact enough to fit quite a lot in them and though small, they make a statement. Speaking of a statement: my necklace makes a big one. I love the oversized modern beads and that it is long. You may remember it from my other All-American Memorial Day Look. I love it. I bottomed off the look with my new Adidas Look-Alike Sneakers from Target. So would you style a Little Navy Dress with Red+White accents for an all-American look?

  8. I absolutely love this dress, and it is definitely something I would wear too...totally my style. Fun hat too. I never discuss politics either on my blog because you will definitely offend half your readers if you do. I know I stopped following two fashion bloggers on Instagram because they were promoting their candidate and bad-mouthing mine, and I couldn't stand it. It's one think to promote your own candidate, and it's another to criticize someone else. As far as getting out to vote...absolutely! But only if you educate yourself first by looking at a variety of media sources. If you only look at one media source, they can be biased.

  9. Gorgeous American colors. I am very torn about this election. 99% percent of me doesn't want to vote at all this round but that 1% is still creeping in to say I need too. Haha! I really dislike both candidates this round so it's tough. We shall see!

  10. I love that you called it Sporty Americana! What a great description. And I love that you paired it with sneakers. I haven't really nailed the sneaker/dress look myself, but I like all the inspiration I'm getting! And of course I plan on voting :)
