Marled and Distressed (plus a Linkup with Rachel).

Hello everyone. Today I am co-hosting with my friend RACHEL from Garay Treasures who runs a successful weekly linkup on Tuesdays called "Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me". Also, my sweet Vivian is back and both of us are sporting knitted beanies because as you can see our snow is back and back to being cold (anywhere between 20-40 degrees). Coincidentally, Rachel is featuring both of her sweet little girls in her post today, also. Also, you may remember Rachel from last week's Thursday Moda when she co-hosted with me. It is my pleasure returning the favor, today. =)

Well, my outfit today is Marled and Distressed as you can see by my shattered jeans and the three marled pieces I am wearing: boyfriend tee, chevron scarf and pom beanie. Actually, these marled pieces worked so well together not just because they are in the cozy and casual marled pattern but because they all have heather gray in them and the scarf+beanie have green as dominating colors, too. Comfy, easy pieces and my outfit today is all thanks to Target (mostly), Old Navy and The Limited - 3 of my favorite stores, so no surprise there. And yes, I layered a thin but warm synthetic long-sleeve thermal tee under my loose gray BF tee. A simple outfit for a busy day of grocery shopping and a few errands with Vivian in tow. My mini me is wearing a brand-new outfit. Her conversation heart gray peplum tunic and neon pink leggings come from Target, however her beanie is hand-knitted by a neighbor back in Albania. I just love how she had to put a beanie hat on since I put one on, which was perfectly fine because it was coooold.

I love that she tries to imitate me and my poses. She is at that fun age when she loves copying a lot of things that happen around her, which depending on what it is can be funny and sweet or silly and not so fun. So we have to be careful for what she sees.

  14. Eeek! Look at little Vivian! I love her smiles in this post. I know what you mean about the copying! You have to watch what you are doing and saying every second. Two things:
    1) I LOVE that you and Rachel co-hosted this link up together. I link up with her weekly. (Except for this particular week because I didn't publish a WWW last week.)
    2) I can't believe I see snow on the ground when it has been 80 degrees here this week and I've already started sweating when I go outside. Bleh.

    Have a great week!
