Warby Parker's New Spring Collection.

I have always been a fan of Warby Parker. They are a leading brand when it comes to eye-wear, in my honest opinion. They have sleek, modern, beautiful, well-made, fun and elegant designs and frames when it comes to both optical glasses and sunglasses. Also, for you color lovers like myself, several of their frames come in bright, bold colors. Colors and styles for every personality. And tomorrow on February 9th 2016, they are launching a new collection called: "The Sun Collective".

So, when a representative from Warby Parker contacted me, I jumped at the opportunity to write this post, as they launched their new Spring 2016 line which has so many gorgeous glasses - how does one choose? Below, I am highlighting some of my current favorite new frames from the Spring 2016 Collection.

This Spring 2016, Warby Parker has come out with 3 new shapes and 7 new colors of glasses. The pricing starts at $95.00 which in my opinion is a very fair price for a great pair of well-made glasses. These prices include any prescription glasses, too. The best part is that you can try not one, not two but 5 different pairs of glasses at home, for free. You have a few days to decide after you try them out and after that you can easily decide to keep the frames you mostly prefer. Some of the things that Warby Parker guarantees are:
  • Akulon-coated screws for durability
  • Lenses made from polycarbonate, the most impact-resistant material on the market
  • Anti-scratch and anti-reflective coating included
  • 100% UV protection
  • One year no scratch guarantee
  • 30 days free shipping, free returns

First up, my favorite would have to be The Preston which come in Women or Men options and are in three colors. I like that these frames are a little bit smaller than most. Of course my favorite is red or like they call it Maraschino (as in maraschino cherries). This pair comes in two different shades of Tortoise too, one lighter (the Gimlet which is my favorite of the two) and one darker shade (the Whiskey). I love all the names Warty Parker has chosen for their glasses and the glasses' colors by the way. So artsy and creative!

I also love The Haskell - a very chic and sort of retro-looking pair which comes in 5 colors. My favorite color is Crystal Blue Jay which is in clear crystal with a vibrant blue piping. But I also really like Crystal Manzanita (pictured above) in clear crystal and cognac - a combination I love; or Burnt Lemon Tortoise which is a classic color.

A third pair I wanted to highlight would be The Burroughs - a classic pair with squared-off lenses and a classic keyhole bridge. This pair gives me a Mad Men vibe. They are so sophisticated. They come in Canton Blue which is a bold+vibrant color between a Cobalt and a Royal Blue and for sure the blue pair is my favorite. They also come in Cognac Tortoise which is in a classic marled neutral between a Chocolate and a Black.

Last but not least I wanted to highlight my favorite pair of Sunglasses from the The Sun Collective - a new collection of beautiful, bright frames for the sunglasses lover in you. The new sunglasses have been updated in several new custom color combos like Pearl Horn with ToffeeDigital Horn with Peony and Clear Lemon. They have crystal embeds along their bottom rims—creating a very clear effect that's as clever as it is subtle. My favorite pair of all has to be The Laurel in Bellini. This pair combines light pink like a rose quartz (color of the year) frames with clear olive glasses. They are so beautiful and feminine.

Narrowing it down to these favorite styles was so hard for me to do. There is more to choose from and more to love at warbyparker.com so for your next prescription pair of glasses or if you want to surprise your spouse or significant other this Valentine's day with a new pair of glasses, check out Warby Parker, pick 5 frames for them, put them in a pretty gift box and let them make the final decision. Warby Parker will not disappoint you. The perfect pair of glasses make a wonderful Valentine's Day Gift. Which pair or two are your favorites?
