Patterned Pinks and Rocksbox.

Happy Tuesday to you all! I am posting late today because Vivian and I slept in and my poor baby girl got up with a little fever also. Praying she gets better real soon. Vivian and I are back today styling some Valentine-inspired Outfits. Today we have on Patterned Pinks on top with Charcoal Grey Leggings and Sneakers on the bottom. Oh and I am sharing my very first box of borrowed jewelry from Rocksbox.

I took the plunge, I finally ordered my first box of Rocks Box. In case you do not know, Rocksbox is an online retailer that lents and sells beautiful designer jewelry. They have a service that costs $19.00 a month and each box has 3 pieces of jewelry selected (after you fill out a style profile on their website) by your personal stylist. You can keep any of the pieces you like for a discounted/special price or you can send them all back. Oh and you can swap out boxes anytime, you pay 19 bucks a month whether you receive one or four boxes of jewelry. They carry several great brands of jewelry like House of Harlow, Kendra Scott, Slate, Loren Hope and Gorjana. My jewelry arrived all inside a cute box tied with a coral ribbon. Each piece was placed inside a plastic bubble wrap for protection and then each was individually put inside their own little sac. I also received a little letter from my stylist which mentioned the pieces she had selected for me and why she did so.
SLATE Artemis Necklace.
WANDERLUST+CO Dusk to Dawn XL Ring in Silver.
KENDRA SCOTT Elle Silver Earrings in White Pearl

I received the SLATE Artemis Necklace priced at $48.00, the KENDRA SCOTT Elle Silver Earrings in White Pearl  priced at $44.00 and the WANDERLUST+CO Dusk to Dawn XL Ring in Silver priced at $47.00. I thought the necklace would be my least favorite but that was actually my most favorite piece. I loved that it was bold yet delicate in that awesome metallic fringe and that it was long. I contemplated keeping it but I sent it back because I want to think about it more. I thought the price of the necklace was fair. Of course the Elle earrings by Kendra Scott are always beautiful (I had wish-listed them) but with most Kendra Scott pieces as pretty and well-made as her jewelry is, I still find it a little over-priced. The trendy triangle asymmetric ring was cute but I found it to be very over-priced. Overall, I think my stylist Kathy N. did a great job selecting these items. I had fun keeping these items on loan and I wore each piece a few times so you will see them on the blog, again. I just put the return label back on the package today and mailed it back. Easy, peasy, done. By the way, you can get your own first month of Rocksbox free using my code: ADABFF39.

So, I wore my new pieces from Rocksbox the very next day. Exactly a week ago from today on a day off, I decided to dress up this Sporty Outfit with all of the pieces I received from my first Rocksbox shipment.  My Sweater, matching Bag and Sneakers are all new too. Vivian and I mixed+matched in Patterned Hot Pink Sweaters (hers is so romantic with the Polka Dots and the Big Bow), Charcoal Grey Leggings and her Disney White+Pink Sneakers with my New Balance White+Gold Sneakers. I layered with a Long White Button-down underneath while Vivian layered with a Heart-Print White Turtleneck. She also has on a Hot Pink Bow to match her Bow Sweater. I love matching with my little girl? I would call this look today "Sporty Valentine". The ladies of "Create 28" had some fun prompts for this month, the last few days. First was Mom+Toddler Style (Shea and her son looked adorable in their matchy outfits), then it was Valentine's Day Look (my friend Whitney looked gorgeous in her signature blush color) and today it was Red and Pink. I love that our Mommy+Toddler Outfits totally fit into all of these Style Challenges.

  4. Ada, you look adorable in this outfit and it makes me think of Valentine's Day! I have a credit for RocksBox and need to order a box with it sometime. At first I thought that necklace was more like a choker or tighter fit, but I love how it hangs down lower. I also love those earrings, of course! Viv looks just as sweet as can be, too! Girls are the best, aren't they?! :)

  6. So fun in pink! I loved rocksbox, but agree some pieces seem overpriced. I did get to keep a lot because of credits though, that was a nice perk!
