Forest Stripes and Lots of Red.

I wore this outfit to work a few weeks ago. Bold and stylish were two words I heard on several occasions that day lol. I guess mixing Forest Green Stripes with Bright Florals, Textured Chevron Tights and Lace Beaded (over leather) Oxford Shoes, plus more pops of red is pretty bold. And I cannot say that I disagree. I normally do not go really matchy-matchy with my Accessories but every now and then I like to. All of these reds are in different shades and I prefer them that way. Plus, have I mentioned that Red is my Most Favorite Color lol? What do you think - is it too much Red? Or if your office is laid back and pretty casual, can you get away with wearing this to work, like I did? And the third prompt of the "Create 28" is Stripes. How can I ever turn down a Cute Stripey Dress? Actually Whitney (one of the three ladies hosting the "Create 28" Challenge this month) owns the very same dress.

I decided to wear my Deep Red/Wine-Colored Puffer Coat for outside too. Since my dress is short-sleeved, it also kept me quite warm when I was out. Do not let the sun fool you - it was very cold.
