Currently: February 2016.

Though February is the shortest month, make no mistake that it is quite a busy month. And event-wise, February is a very busy month for everyone. So many fun things and events happen in February: Valentine's Day, Women's Heart Disease month, The Super Bowl, the Grammy's, the Oscars, you name it. Speaking of the Super Bowl, are you watching it tonight? What team are you in favor of? I will be joining the Currently (February) Link-up with Anne and Jenna as usual. So, check out what I am up to this leap month.

sending: Valentine's Day Cards and Birthday Cards+Gifts. This year I am sending out some Valentine's Day Cards to some of my favorite people, a few friends, a few of my favorite couples (like some of my cousins and their significant others), my parents and one specifically for my mom. This year I picked out a card for my daughter too and some fun love-themed ribbon pins for her. They have cute little love messages on them. Of course, I am handing out a card to my parents and one to my brother too. I am also sending out a Valentine's Day Card and some candy to my husband who is currently in Europe. Unfortunately, we will be spending V Day apart this year, but we will definitely think of each-other. I miss him so much and cannot wait to see him soon. Also, just last week I sent out a gift for my very good friend's son who turns 3 on Valentine's Day. Aren't those toddler boy sweaters (pictured above) so chic? Of course I included a card and a couple of little gifts for his mom (my friend), too.

eating: lots of soups and salads, but also fries and chicken parmigiana sandwiches, lately. My typical salad is a Mediterranean one: mixed greens. tomatoes, red beets. kalamata olives, feta cheese, cucumbers, bell peppers and a vinaigrette dressing. Lately I have tried an amazing spinach+feta soup, as well as a tomato bisque soup from a couple of local restaurants and they are both so delicious. Now, I am about to eat some grilled chicken on top of a salad - my favorite. To drink: Green Iced Tea with Ginseng and Honey. Refreshing, a little sweet, healthy and delicious.

dreaming: of ways to style my new items I ordered from Nordstrom. I placed a couple of orders at Nordstrom.com this week and I cannot wait to see when everything arrives like this topthis bottom and a pair of shoes similar to these, which I also think will look wonderful as an outfit together. What do you think? Isn't that quote above so true? Speaking of dreamy clothes, do you guys watch Project Runway? They had a spin-off edition this Winter "Project Runway Junior" and their youngest contestant Maya (pictured below) won. The finale was on Thursday February 4th. At only 14 she put together a stunning, modern, fashion-forward and feminine black+white collection which I absolutely loved and some of those pieces I would totally wear, too. Very well deserved, young talented Maya. And clearly as shown by those items I picked out at  Nordstrom I have Black+White in mind.
Look at this stunning, high couture collection. She chose the perfect simple yet sexy strappy black stilettos, too.

smelling: the goodies from the cocoa bar I recently put up in my kitchen (I will share this project with you very soon). The hot cocoa, the cookies, the chocolate, the coffee, the marshmallows, everything there looks, smells and tastes soooo good. I am also smelling the new festive candles I purchased at Target. Not only do they make super cute decorations on my new Coffee+Cocoa Bar but they smell divine. I particularly love the Salted Caramel Candle. And yes that was a great Target find for 3 bucks!

hearting: this is the month of love so there are many things I am hearting. I am mostly hearting hearts and the word "love" from fashions and clothes to accessories like cups, mugs, straws, vases, notebooks, cell-phone covers, jars, spoons, frames, boxes, envelopes, candy/chocolate boxes, lotion bottles and even Winter accessories like scarves, beanies, coats and more. And as you can tell by my photos above, my house got plenty of hearts and "love" in it, from Vivian's clothes to my own, from my kitchen to my bedroom. Of course since it is February I heart Pink and Red. (Well, I always heart red LOL). Last but not least I am hearting my very first Rocks Box (it is about time I finally got this service). The box is mighty cute too but I loved what was inside. I will share all my pieces styled in my outfit tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Vivian has a lot of Novelty Tees, Sweaters, Sweatshirts etc. with Hearts and "Love" on it so she has been wearing lots of those these last couple of weeks. Ditto for Pink and Red (as the photos above indicate).
This is what Vivian is wearing currently (as in this morning of February 7th 2016). I am not gonna lie it was cold enough to wear a heavy coat most definitely, but Vivian has on lots of layers and we went outside to snap some photos quickly. Isn't she a doll? This Graphic Heart Sweatshirt is the latest on her collection of Novelty Tops. It was a Birthday Present from one of my mom's good friends.

And currently wearing: Faux Leather Black Pants, a Hot Pink Frilly Blouse and a Black Cardigan (OK this is not part of the currently list but I will share it, since I did last month also). Just like Vivian in the photo above I paired lots of Black with some Fuchsia. Festive no? You can see our Festive Valentine's Looks in detail, on the blog, soon. Valentine's-Inpired cup of strong coffee in my hand, I am ready to tackle a Sunday, don't you think? More proof that I have Red and Pink in my mind? Check out all my posts from this week: here plus here and check out how I remixed a Classic Red Coat.

As usual Thank you for reading. Have a great new week!
