Best Dressed Birthday Party - Part Two.

Welcome to day 2 of Birthday Celebrations here at Elegance and Mommyhood. Thank you to all who participated on the fun and who wished me a Happy Birthday on day one, yesterday on my actual birthday. We got seven other gorgeous ladies and Beautiful Fashionistas here today, styling a Dress of their choice for a "Birthday Party". We will get to them in a little bit. But first, here is a second Birthday Dress from me. This time I shopped my closet for a "new" dress or rather a never-worn-before dress. Shame on me for not wearing this beauty who has been in my closet for almost 2 years. And, you will see some pictures of me and my man, today, also.

This is what I wore last night after work, for a small little dinner celebration with my husband at home, while my sister-in-law played babysitter and the two of us had some quiet time to ourselves. This dress mixes Paisley, Leopard and a Chain-Print in Navy, Camel and Burgundy (aka Marsala). It comes with the built-in shiny metallic gold belt and it is definitely a body-con dress. I wore my New Royal Blue, Faux Python Pumps with it and played off the python of the pumps and the red tones of the Dress by mixing it with a Red Faux Python Clutch by White House Black Market - one of my favorite clutches. I added a Clear+Baby Blue Beaded Statement Necklace with large baubles (also from WHBM), a couple of Cute Pink Bracelets and some new Blue Drop Earrings which I received yesterday morning as a Birthday Gift from one of my best friends. Last but not least I added a Cute Bow Barrette in Navy+Pink to my French Bun. But of course, my husband came home with a big bouquet of fresh flowers for me, so they became an additional accessory. What do you think of my 35th Birthday Dress that I wore? How else would you style this dress?

Once again, for part 2, I asked these ladies (whose blogs I read more than once a week and whose styles I admire), to style a Dress of their choice as a Birthday Outfit and say something about their outfit, as well. Not to be outshined by yesterday's ladies, these 7 babes look so pretty and all ready to party in their lovely dresses! Thanks again to them all for being part of this 35th Blog Birthday Party! And thank you to the ladies from yesterday's post as well.

Dress: Kate Spade

Bag: J. Crew
Sunglasses: Ray Ban
"This Jillian dress from Kate Spade is my go to dress for celebrations in the spring/summer. In fact, this picture was taken for my 5th wedding anniversary with my husband in the garden where we were married. Because it's such a special dress for special occasions, I thought it would be perfect for Ada's birthday post!"

Black wool dress: Thrifted
Military Boots
Vintage crystal eye glasses - Vintage
Wallet - Hermes
Necklace and Bracelet - Tiffany & Co.
"I love to mix luxury and thrift items together to get a look that really represents my personal style. This thrifted dress and vintage glasses were mixed in with some Tiffany accessories (also vintage) and military boots. I've learned to love my military boots! They were inspired by all of the Italians I see wearing them in every season and for any occasion. Happy birthday Ada, and thank you for letting me be a part of your celebrations!"

Dress: Pumps and Push Ups
Sandals: Maurices
Tote: Nordstrom
Earrings: Nickel and Suede
"I have had my eye on two of the dresses in the Pumps and Push Ups Collection, so I thought it would be fun to style one for this post! This way you can meet the ladies behind the collection, and see one of their latest pieces.  I picked up the "Pleased To Meet You Shift Dress" from the Pumps and Push Ups Collection (http://shoppumpsandpushups.com/product/pleased-to-meet-you-shift-dress). It is comfy and has a stretchy fit with 5% spandex. I love the print, and it is one of those pieces that you can just put on and go! It looks great dressed up with wedges, and you can wear it with sandals or sneakers for more casual events. Happy birthday sweet Ada! I hope you have an amazing day and a year filled with love and blessings! Susan"

Dress: J.Crew
Cardigan: Ann Taylor

"This is a recent dress purchase from J Crew. I fell in love with the pretty print and colors. I paired it with an Ann Taylor cardigan and J Crew heels."

"Hi there! I'm Anna from Happy Medley and I'm a Christian blogger, wife, mom, DIYer, a little bit of a cook and current preggo. I love my boy beyond measure but I don't particularly enjoy being pregnant. With its aches and pains and the difficulty to find fashionable and trendy things to wear, without buying another wardrobe, pregnancy can be frustrating. When I found this maternity dress from ASOS I was over the moon as it was stylish, pretty and comfortable. A win - win in my book! I will be sporting tons of maternity outfits all through the summer so I hope you come and check out my blog for some bump style inspiration."

SHANNON.
Dress: Forever 21
Shoes: Charlotte Russe
Cuff: Gotham Decay
"When it comes to birthdays I always try to go with a super fun or funky dress! I absolutely love this one from F21 because the fit and flare style is super flirty and the colorful print just yells lets go party! I paired the dress with some fun lace up heels that are still comfortable to dance all night! Thanks Ada for letting me be apart of your celebration and happy birthday!"

JENNIE.
Dress: Calvin Klein
Shrug: Nina Leonard
Necklace: Charming Charlie
Shoes: Rampage
"When Ada asked me to share a look featuring a dress with her blog readers I immediately knew I wanted to share one of my favorite kind of dress looks - a little black dress and a bit of leopard! I love how versatile a lbd is, which can make a statement all on its own, or through layering. It can be transformed with a cute cardigan, stylish blazer, or even a denim jacket and sneakers for a more low-key look. The little black dress is always one of my very favorite go-to pieces!"

Happy Cinco de Mayo Everyone and Stay tuned for a Special 6 remix post tomorrow, featuring yet another favorite blogger of mine, and she is mommy to a 2-year old little girl, just like myself. Who will it be? =D

Since this is my birthday week, I wanted to wrap it up with this quote I found on Erin's Blog which I loved.

I am also linking up for the Trend Spin Linkup with Laura. Today's theme is COLOR.
