What to Wear to an Early Fall Wedding - 4 Bloggers Collaboration.

I think the two easiest seasons to transition are from Summer to Fall. But when it comes to a Fall Wedding, what makes your Outfit or Dress doesn't look like it is still hot and sunny out? A heavier material on your dress, a layering piece like a kimono, jacket, shrug or shawl, full sleeves, elbow sleeves? Any of the above are great. Technically one can wear a sleeveless or strapless fancy dress to a wedding anytime (even in the Winter, if the wedding is indoors), but I still think one should dress according to the season. Today, myself along with CARRIE from Curly Crafty Mom, JENNIE from A Pocketful of Polka Dots and WHITNEY from Whitney ala Mode are showing you 4 ways to dress for an Early Fall Wedding. As you will see from the collage below, we each wore very different outfits and showed off our personal styles. I noticed some things in common though: rich colors, florals in reds and berries and toppers to keep warm for when a call breeze may pass us by.
Jennie chose the most gorgeous Fit+Flare Rose Print Dress which she paired with her stunning Mary Jane Pumps and accessorized with a Crystal Necklace and a Black Wrap around her shoulders (as you will see on the other collage, below). Whitney is wearing a Classic LBD accessorizing it with a very on-trend Tassel Necklace, a Floral Kimono and an Emerald Clutch; choosing Orange and Deep Green as two accent colors which are two perfect Fall colors. And Carrie wore a Rich Raspberry Dress with Sleeves. Between the Oxford Booties and that Awesome Fringe Necklace, her Outfit has an easy Bohemian feel going.
While I wore a Red Silk Ruched Dress with a Cropped Black Velvet Jacket over it. My Bandage Ruched Dress from Express is very flattering to the body and has a plunging neckline which sort of requires a fun necklace. So I wore a beaded, sort of antique-looking Statement Necklace in Deep Maroon and Gold Beads. Funny thing is that my Jacket was purchased from Wal Mart ages ago. It is a very pretty, well-made and dressy little jacket. The one button on it is a crystal flower that looks like a brooch. Choosing nice materials like Real Silk and Soft Velvet is a great way to dress up for a Wedding. I also wore Black+Blue Small Dangly, Beaded Earrings which go with the Necklace (without matching it perfectly), a Wide Gold Cuff with large rectangle crystals and a gold+zirconia stone Rose Cocktail Ring. My Pumps are very in this season since they have the chunky square heels and they are in a Charcoal Gray Python Skin. My Clutch is a Simple Black Satin Clutch with a Band of tiny beads on the front. So, Deep Red and Black for a Feminine and Sexy Early Fall Wedding, what do you think? Which of the 4 Wedding Outfits is your favorite?
Here is a closer look of our Outfits from the waist up. =)

  14. That red dress is very lovely and would look great for a wedding! :)

I'm going to be faced with the struggle of what to wear to a winter wedding next year....from all initial planning though it seems like it will be in one spot so hopefully it's heated and it won't be too restrictive clothing wise, haha! Winter doesn't exactly make me want to pull on a dress!
