Patterned Shorts of the Summer - Part One.

Just a quick post today. Even-though you have seen me mostly in skirts and dresses this Summer, make no mistake, I have worn my share of shorts, though not a much as I did last year. So I got two outfits below, featuring two pairs of my Patterned Shorts. Which outfit is your favorite, today?

On Friday, I showed you guys my Pineapple-Embroidered Shorts from Old Navy. This Khaki/Tan pair is also from Old Navy from 2 years ago and they have Embroidered Neon Pink Flamingos on them. I played off the Pink and wore a Tiered Pinkish Shell with my Neon Pink+Neon Green+Bright Turquoise Bow, Jelly Flip Flops. This outfit is very simple but the Jewelry is quite pretty. My Gorgeous Polka Dot Glass Beaded Necklace mixes+matches with the Polka Dot Mushroom Stud Earrings. I also added two simple Nude Bangles and a Crystal Cuff as well as my beachy Coral Cocktail Ring. It is the little details, you guys.
The Jewelry:
Black, Tiny Mushroom Stud Earrings w/ Red Polka Dots: A Random Street Vendor for $1.00 (New).
2 thin Nude Lucite Bangles (part of a set): Forever 21.

This outfit pairs my Cobalt Floral Shorts from Express with a Seamless Olive Green Bustier by Bebe. It was such a muggy and hot day and I kept it simple with some Yellow and Red Stretchy Bracelets and Brown Muddy Drop Earrings as my only Jewelry. For a morning full of errands I wore my Black TB-inspired Sandals and I kept my hands free by carrying a Cross-body Bag. As I have mentioned before I love this Ruffled, Blush Cross-body. It is feminine and makes a statement, for sure.

  6. My favorite of the two is the first outfit! Although give me anything pink or flamingo related and I'm sold! I love that the shorts are almost neutral but with just a pop of pink! I would love to see them with a chambray!

  13. I've been wearing more patterned shorts these days. They're so much fun. The ones you featured here are super cute. You live so close to me. I'm like 20-25 minutes from 12 Oaks. Let's get together once the madness of the first couple of weeks of school dies down.
