Flirty Skirts of Summer - Part One.

These Floral Skirts were purchased for 10 bucks each in the Summer of 2013. Though you have only seen each of them about 3-4 times on the blog, I have worn them more times that that and even dressed them up a few times. The Green one was the only skirt I packed earlier this year, for my Beach Vacation, also. I believe easy, short, flirty skirts like these (in a circle or skater style) are essential to keep cool for running errands or to wear casually on a hot Summer day, particularly if they are in a floral print. These skirts are identical, just the colors are different. The black one has bouqets of pink+red roses while the kelly green one has multi-colored little flowers all over. They both have a built-in wide cognac belt with a butterfly. And as you can see from the second outfit, little Vivian is sort of matching me a little in her chiffon tutu mint skirt which has pink flowers+pink frills. I paired mine with an Orange-Striped Tee while she paired hers with an Orange Graphic Tee.

I paired the Black Floral Flirty Skirt with a Light Mint Tee (it is hard to tell but this tee has lace cap sleeves). To sort of mix+match with the Mint Tee I wore my Turquoise Bow Headband, Aqua Double-Sided Studs and Mint Cocktail Ring. I brought in the red and little yellow of the Skirt via my little Beaded Bracelets. And I kept the neck simple with one of my gold heart pendants. Black+Red Rose Print with Mint - what do you think?
2 Nude, Thin Plastic Bangles (part of a set): Forever 21.

The Green Floral Flirty Skirt was paired with an Orange-Neon Striped V-Neck Tee. I love wearing a Floral Skirt with a Striped Top but I don't think I have tried the alternative. I added a Colorful Neon Druzzy Necklace, Gold Studs, a couple of Beautiful Fine Jewelry Rings and my Red Jelly Sandals. And like I said Vivi matched mommy a little in her Bright Orange Graphic "Barcelona" Tee and her Tutu Mint+Pink Floral Skirt. The Green Floral Skirt was worn about ten days after the first outfit (last night, to be exact). We went as a family at a kid-friendly Cafe which has a huge indoor playground for kids. It is very close to our home here in Europe and Vivian loves that place. I am sure it will be one of those places she will miss in US but there are many other playgrounds plus Chuck E. Cheese in the States. You will see some pictures I took of my two loves. Vivian loves her daddy very much. What do you think of our similar/matchy Mommy-Daughter Outfits?
