Budget Babes, Spring Trends 2015 - Black and White.

TGIF EVERYONE. Happy May 1st! Happy first day of my favorite month and Happy Spring! I welcome you today on our 4th installment of the Budget Babes - Spring Edition as well as into a very creative first week of posts, collaborations and other fun things I have going on with several other bloggers, so be sure to stop back on Monday May 4th on my actual birth-date, because I promise you it will be a very fashionable post! For now, we are wearing one of this year's and this Spring's biggest trends: Black+White, keeping it under 75 bucks, of course!
RACHEL from Garay Treasures styled White Jeans with a Black Tee and an Open Black Cardigan, dressing it up with a Classic Black Tote and Open-Toe Heels, while MARIA from Not Fancy Just Life styled a White Maxi Skirt with a Black Tee, a Long Necklace and some Fun Spring Earrings. Make sure you stop by their blogs to see more of their great Spring Looks! I am the one that stands out because I am wearing a Mini Dress in a White and Black Grid Pattern with my B+W Espadrille Flats and some pops of color via my Handbag.
Don't you love my new Grid-Pattern or Windowpane Black+White Mini Dress? It is like a Little Shift. Last week for the Budget Babes Spring Trends I also wore a similar White Sheath. The one today is more on the mini side but I still think it could work for my job which isn't uptight at all, without the belt (which comes with it) and some dark tights, for Fall, early Spring or Winter. Of course topped with a Blazer or Cardigan. Anyway. the best part about this Dress is that it was courtesy of one of my favorite local boutiques, which means it cost $0. The Chanel-inspired Espadrille Flats I scored for 18 bucks and they look and feel very much like real leather. I didn't so much get them because of how they are inspired by Chanel but because of their perfect B+W Colorblocking and the perfect fit on me. I have tried many Espadrille Flats and a lot of them do not fit my skinny feet at all. Since the Dress has a Black, White and Gold Chain Belt that comes with it, I played off the Belt with my Gold Chain Necklace (c/o another boutique). Last but not least I carried my Green Teal Tote (which I have bought a few years ago for a great deal of 18 bucks), to which I tied my Floral Scarf (part of my top 10 picks - since this outfit was worn last week when it was still April). After editing the photos, I realized that my Bag with the Floral Scarf tied to it, looked a lot like several of the colorful totes from the Lilly Pulitzer line with Target, from this Spring. Score! The Floral Scarf was another free item from a boutique. So, if you add it all up it costs $36 which so far is my best deal for a head-to-toe look, during these $75 or under Budget Posts. On top of that, I think I look pretty good, sporting trends and still being very me. Do you own a Windowpane Dress or Skirt? How have you worn it? I found some Gorgeous similar Dresses to mine, linked below, most of which are under 75 bucks!
White+Black, Windowpane, Short-Sleeve Mini Dress/Shift (comes w/ the chain belt): c/o A Local Boutique (New) (similar, on sale), (shirtdress option by Charlotte Russe, best deal, love this), (classic, sleeveless sheath option by Anne Klein, love this), (black w/ white squares by Loft, great deal, love this).
White Silky Scarf w/ Large Hot Pink, Mint, Turquoise & Green Flowers (tied into a bow to the purse): c/o a Local Accessories Boutique (similar by Ralph Lauren, great deal, love this), (gorgeous option w/ a navy base, love this), (gorgeous option in black w/ red roses, best deal), (similar by Kate Spade, Splurge, love this).

P.S.  Also linking up with Allison, Amanda, Cherie, Christina, Claire, Good Random Fun, Doranda,
And for the first time ever I am joining "Charming Friday" with my friends Susan and Jennie. Welcome by and join the fun, with them as well.
Also, the ladies behind the Create 28 Lovely Spring Looks, added an extra prompt for April's Challenge month which was Favorite New Trend. One of my Favorite Trends (which isn't new and I wouldn't even call it a trend) is a Black+White Look. I think it is perfect year-around actually, not just for Spring. Today's Outfit is perfect to link up with them, one last time.

Have a Great and Sunny First weekend of May! I will try to enjoy mine since Sunday is also my Birthday Eve!
