LBD, Watercolors and a Statement Necklace.

Yesterday was the second day of Dresses for Create 28. I am a day late but just like my very versatile, must-have Striped Dress I showed you on Monday, I wanted to show you a Classic Sheath LBD today, which I wore to work. I will follow with the next prompt which is Sneakers on tomorrow's post, so stay tuned. =)
This elegant, Sleeveless Black Sheath from The Loft has been in my closet for a few years (I got it on clearance) but I haven't worn it a much as I can. It has little lace palettes on the shoulders and styled the right way can be worn to a cocktail party and even a wedding. For work, I paired it with Blue, rather Navy to be exact. Now I would normally stay away from pairing Black with Navy but my Navy Jacket is a Watercolor Print. The Gray/Off White part breaks up the Navy. I got more Watercolor also, as I brought a second pattern to this Outfit by wearing my Watercolor Python Pumps (love those Cone Heels). A subtle third pattern is the ribbing/striping of the Tights. I am glad to report this outfit is from earlier this Spring when it was still chilly and tights-weather. As I am currently typing this I am bare-legged (gasp) in my pretty Skirt. Spring may be here after all?! I wore a Stunning Minty, Briolette+Cubic Zirconia Statement Necklace because I definitely felt it complimented the dress, perfectly. Speaking of the Dress, I found several similar Sheaths for 80$ or under so look on the links below. I love ALL of them. The Blazer here is part of my Top 10 items, also. What do you think?
Navy+White Watercolor Blazer w/ Tuxedo-Style Faux Leather Lapel: H&M (New) (very similar by Missguided, great deal, love this), (gorgeous option by CK under 10 bucks!!), (similar, all navy by Rag & Bone, Splurge).
Mint, Briolette Statement Necklace w/ Mint Stones & Silver Cubic Zirconia Stones: Forever 21 (similar by Kate Spade, great deal, love this), (similar by Charter Club, best deal, love this), (similar, tiered briolette option, fantastic deal).
Black Beaded Bracelet w/ Pearl, Crystal & Coin Charms: White House Black Market (very similar, great deal, love this), (similar, love this), (fun option w/ Domo beads, best deal).
Black, Lightly-Ribbed, See-through Tights: Omsa.

P.S. I am linking up with Elle and Jac for "Spotlight of the Week" tomorrow which is about Statement Jewelry.
Also linking up with Alice, Allison, Ayana, Brooke, Carrie with Jill, Elizabeth, Leeanne, Liz, Linda,

  18. As many dresses as I own, I do not have a black sheath. I think I need to remedy this since they are so versatile! Thank you for joining TBT Fashion link up and hope to see you next week. Have a great weekend!
