Dressy Valentine's Birthday 2015.

Last Thursday I shared with you two Casual Valentine's Look that I wore this year over V-Day Weekend. Today I am sharing what I wore on February 14th during the evening, when we went to a 2nd Birthday Celebration for Vivian's Friend Rei.
You got a sneak-peek of this outfit during my Valentine Recap where you can see more photos of Vivian and I during the Birthday Party. I ignored my Gorgeous Red Dotted Pencil Skirt from Bebe for far too long. I pulled it out of my closet and wanted to wear it sometime during Valentine's. I also pulled out this Pretty Silver (Metallic) High-neck Ruffled Blouse which had also been ignored for a long time and actually has only appeared on the blog, once before. I threw the two together on my bed, among another pile of neglected clothes and I loved how the two looked together so I paired them up. I actually wanted to wear a Dress to the Birthday Party but I am glad I wore a Skirt and Top instead since I almost always wear Dresses for Special Occasions or Celebrations. And this isn't the first time I am wearing Burgundy and Red in the same Outfit. I love how the two colors look together. These Oxford Pumps have been making the rounds lately but I love them. They were perfect to wear during February, also. Of course, Bright Red Lipstick called my name for this Outfit. What do you think?
Vivian's Pretty Red Dress was her Birthday Gift this year from the mom of the little Birthday Boy (we went to for this Birthday). This was the first time she wore it. I think it was the perfect occasion and of course it made my friend very happy to see Vivian in it. To keep with the Valentine theme, she is wearing a Heart-print top, underneath the Dress.
Silver Metallic, High-Neck, Ruffled-front Button-down Blouse: A Boutique in Tirana (similar in chiffon by Topshop, love this), (gorgeous asymmetric option, Splurge), (sleeveless option by Miu Miu, great deal), (similar in white, best deal).
Light Dangly, Silver-tone Earrings w/ Cubic Zirconia & Black Crystal Beads: White House Black Market  (gorgeous feather option by Maison, on sale, love these), (gorgeous floral option by The Limited, best deal, love these), (fun option by The Limited, great deal).
Smoke Gray & Skye Blue, Beaded, Crystal Bracelet: Viggos.
Off-Black, Spider-Print Opaque Tights: H&M.
Classic Red Matte, Ultra Color Lipstick: c/o Avon (identical, great deal love this), (similar by Avon, "totally kissable" option, best deal).

Vivian's Outfit:
Red Velvet, Cap-Sleeve Dress w/ Bow: H&M (Birthday Gift).
White Turtleneck w/ Multi-Colored Hearts: Thrifted New.
White Knit Tights: Carter's.
Ponytail Holder w/ Silver Heart, Pearl & Red Ball: A Local Accessories Boutique.
Black Patent Leather+Elastic Mary Jane Shoes: Target.

Below is last year's version of how I styled this same Red Pencil Skirt with the Tiny White Dots, for a Dressy Work-to-Dinner Valentine's Day Look. I also paired it with a Blouse last year - one in a Bright Pink. I do prefer it better with the Silver/Gray Blouse. I posted the Outfits side by side. Which one do you like more? And next week, I will show you my last Dressy Outfit from Valentine's Week which I saved for Marsala week.

P.S. I am linking up with Aisha, Alice, Annie, Carrie, Elle, Dawn, Jalynn, Jenna Marie, Lauren, Linda, Rachel, Tara and Vicki.
And stay tuned because I have a Very Special 6 Remix Post coming up tomorrow. You all know I love remixing my closet.  Thanks for reading and Happy Thursday!
