Top 3 Special Occasion Look of 2014 and What Wives Wear Link-up.

First things first: Happy New Year 2015 you all!! It is my first post of the year! Here is to a Fun Blogging year and maybe one that will bring some nice opportunities for this little blog of mine. Thanks again to all my readers and companies who have collaborated with me in the past.

Secondly, on the first day of a New Year I am the first co-host of my two blogging buddies Carrie and Sherri who have been hosting a link-up on Thursdays called "What Wives Wear", for over six months now. I have joined this link-up since day one. They also have been kind enough to feature several of my looks as their Top Two Favorites. (So, welcome and join the link-up below, with us.)

In honor of the first day of the New Year and since everyone is still in a Festive Mood, today I wanted to share with you my Top 3 Festive/Special Occasion Looks I wore in 2014! I am not gonna lie, I actually knew (without reviewing my blog) which these 3 Outfits would be, because they have stood out in my memory from the last year and I happened to love all three of them, very much. They are in no particular order so here they are below:

Black+White Plaid Dress, Red Peep-toe Pumps, Statement Earrings & Retro Magazine Clutch

I styled this Gorgeous 50s-inspired Black+White Plaid Halter Dress for a Collaboration I did with 3 other Very Stylish Mommy Bloggers. We each showed you what to wear to an Early Fall Wedding. I actually ended up wearing this Dress to a Wedding a month later and I added some see-through Black Tights and a Red Cardigan (because it was much cooler). Rather than that I kept everything the same. I opted for no Necklace as you see and chose Gorgeous Statement Earrings instead. I also accessorized with a Cocktail Ring and a Dainty yet Fun Bracelet. The Red Pumps and Retro Magazine Cover Clutch were perfect additions to this Dress.

Black Sequin Joggers, Red+Blue Plaid Shirt, Bronze Pumps & Statement Necklace.

I wore this Outfit to a Fabulous Holiday Party just last December. I did end up switching the Shoes to Black Pumps (which were a lot more comfortable). I love how I styled these Pants with my Newest Plaid Shirt and my Jewel-toned Heart Statement Necklace. I kept the Earrings simple (Rose Studs) and added just 2 Bracelets and a Red Butterfly Cocktail Ring. This was also a post where I collaborated with the Lovely Linda where we both Styled Plaid and Sparkles for a Festive Holiday Look!

Red Dress with Black Lace Sleeves & Black Peep-toe, Lace Bow Pumps.
Last but not least this is the Outfit I wore almost a year ago on January 19th 2014 for Vivian's first Birthday. We celebrated with a Fancy Birthday Dinner at a nice restaurant and I wanted to dress the part both to honor my daughter, our guests and to fit the restaurant and ambiance of the dinner. I actually purchased the Dress particularly for this occasion. Red is my Favorite Color and I thought this fitted little Cocktail Dress with the Black Lace Sleeves was beautiful and different. I kept my Earrings and Necklace Simple but did match them to my blingy Silver Bracelet. I also wore my Black Peep-toe Lace Pumps which were a perfect match for the Dress. And I felt so pretty with my makeup and hair done in large curls.

So, what do you think of my Most Favorite Dressy+Festive Looks from 2014? Did you do a post looking back into your Favorite Looks of the year?

Before I leave off for today, I also wanted to share with you our Christmas photos from this year. I am not gonna lie, I only was able to get them done last weekend and they were given/delivered after Christmas. Therefore I only wrote Happy New Year this time. Better late than never and it's the thought that counts, right? I designed them myself by the way and had them printed out for me. Here they are.

(this one is written some in English and some in Albanian.)

They came out nice, no?

Last week we took a break to celebrate Christmas
with our families, so this weeks Top Two picks were our
favorites from the linkup two weeks ago.

First we chose Angie who shared a chic layered look.

She is wearing a black top with lace detailing over a
classic white button up.

It goes perfectly with her black velvet blazer and
grey ankle length pants.

Her colorful flower necklace is a statement piece that
draws all the attention.

Our next pick is Heather who is wearing all black  on top
with a black shirt, jacket, and a chunky knit scarf.

Heather's red pants add a pop of color.

Red and black always go so well with animal print.
She is wearing leopard print booties and a clutch.
