July 2014 Reflections and Top 3 Looks.

Hello. How was your weekend, everyone? I have been so behind with recapping my months in blogging, non-fashion and fashion-wise. But since today is a gorgeous, warm, Indian Summer day, leaving it off where I last recapped for June, I am continuing with July's Favorite Looks, while thinking about Summer. In a week I will recap August and then as soon as I am done posting the 30 for 30 Outfits (should be done this week), I will do a recap of the remix challenge.

Altogether, there were 27 Outfits shown all July, in 24 (all style-related) posts. In four posts I posted 2 Outfits on each. July was pretty much the month of the Dresses. I actually started off the month on July 1st announcing a Dress Week and showing off my new cropped hair. So it was mostly Dresses and some Skirts. Among them a few Maxis: 2 Neglected Maxi Dresses and a brand-new one (see Favorite Outfit #3), a new Maxi Skirt and an old Maxi Skirt. There were a few Shorts in between. I also looked back into some Older Summer Looks featuring Dresses. I reviewed my first eShakti Dress which I loved. And for the "Mom Wear to Work Wear" I showed a Strapless, A-line Raspberry Dress as well a Black Polka Dot Fit+Flare Dress. Most of my Date-Night Looks featured these Lace, Black, Bow Pumps also. I love these Shoes. They are comfortable, girly and dressy. When I wasn't wearing them, you could find me wearing a variety of Sandals. I did carry a Clutch or two in my Dressier Looks. Oh and last but not least, In July I wore a lot of Pretty, Statement Necklaces.

Besides my eShakti collaboration of my Custom-made Dress, I collaborated with MARIA of Not Fancy, Just Life for an entire week of Summer Trends, where the cost of our entire outfit each day, didn't exceed 75 bucks. I am a deals+sales shopper so it wasn't too hard. You can see that recap and my Favorite Looks for that collaboration, including my Hot Pink Dress, here. We featured Graphic Tees, Gladiator Sandals, Midi Skirts/Dresses and more, showing you that trends and looking stylish don't have to cost a fortune.

I had a hard time choosing a top 3 and for the first ever there is a tie. So, altogether out of all 27 Outfits, I am showing 10 Favorites. There is also a Least Favorite Look of the month. Take a peek below for links and details. Which are your favorite 2-3 Looks I wore?

A Royal Blue or Cobalt, Sleeveless Dress for the Summer was on my must-buy list. I scored this beauty by H+M which I already wore 3 times this Summer, including once for a Wedding (not blogged about). This was my first styling of this Dress that my husband actually purchased for me. It was only fitting that I wore it for a Date Night with my Handsome Man. The Statement Necklace I am wearing is also one of my favorites as well as those Lace Bow Pumps.
Can you believe this Outfit was under $75? Well, yes it was and it happened to be my Most Favorite out of all 5 Outfits I featured on my Collaboration with Maria. I love a Girly, B+W Striped Full Skirt. They can be styled a million ways. It very much deserves to be on top 3. Coincidentally I am wearing the same Pretty Necklace on both of my Top 2 picks.
Clearly I love my Stripes and Midis because this Gorgeous, Nautical, Knit Midi Dress is tied for the second place with the Striped, Midi Skirt. Because the Dress is mostly Navy and Off-White I accessorized with Red as the main color. Loved how this came out.
This is my Favorite Floral Maxi Dress. It was purchased this Summer and once again H+M nailed it with their Summer collection when it came to Dresses. I brought out all the Bright Colors of the Dress as well as did a little pattern-mixing via all the Accessories I chose and my Striped Espadrille Wedges. Vivian was wearing an Adorable Nautical Dress on this same post, also.

And...
There is nothing much wrong here. It just feels (because it is) very boring. Plus these Wide Bermuda Shorts now are 2 size too big on me.
