Very Aspiring Blogger.

Over the last couple of months, several beautiful  bloggers nominated me either for the "Very Aspiring Blogger Award" or the "Leibster Award". First I got the Liebster Award from Witty English Teacher, MARICEL, then it was the Aspiring Blogger Award from Sweet Lifestyle Blogger SHERRI, then a couple of weeks ago Beautiful Mom of 4, RACHEL gave me the sweet Aspiring Blogger Award, and just a couple of days ago, The Stylish and Colorful Robyn nominated me for the Liebster. Thank you to all to of you Ladies for such sweet, wonderful, thoughtful awards and for thinking of me. Also, to most of you I am sorry I am posting this so late, but I decided to combine all of these 4 awards into one post. Hope you get to know me a little bit better and also, please visit the blogs of the 15 Awesome Ladies I am nominating as well. You won't be disappointed.

Rules of acceptance of the Very Inspiring Blogger award:
'
1. Thank and link the amazing person who nominated you.
2. List the rules and display the award.
3. Share seven facts about yourself.
4. Nominate 15 other amazing blogs and comment on their posts to let them know they have been nominated.
5. Optional: Proudly display the award logo on your blog and follow the blogger who nominated you.

Here are 7 Facts about me, that I hope I haven't listed on the blog before, already.

1} I was born and lived in Albania until I was 17 years old when my family moved to the States. Therefore English is my second language.
2} Autumn is my most favorite season especially when I lived in Michigan. Autumn is simply breath-taking over there. It is also my favorite season to dress for.
3} My favorite foods are salads, soups and pasta dishes. I have more of a salty tooth than a sweet tooth. I'd rather snack on nuts or crackers than cookies or muffins for example.
4} I met my husband when I was traveling to Albania, over 11 years ago. We started off on a long-distance relationship. It was tough but it brought us closer together. I flew to Europe twice a year for the first 2.5 years of our relationship. Every time we saw each other it was like a long vacation. Those are some of my best life memories.
5} I have the most close-knit family I have ever seen. We are all so close and loving to one-another and despite all of us living very busy lives and some of us living far, we talk on the phone every day. I am so lucky to have been blessed not just with the most amazing parents and brother but I am so blessed for all my uncles, aunts and first cousins too. I was blessed with 4 Amazing Grandparents too, RIP. Vivian now is very lucky to be a part of this family, as well. Family is the most important thing in the world to me.
6} Christmas is my most favorite holiday and time of the year for everything that it stands for. It is also the holiday I love to go all out on and decorate the most for. And I love a White Christmas.
7} I always wanted a girl so when God blessed us with a daughter I couldn't be happier or more excited.

And below I am answering Robyn's Questions.

1. What or who inspires you to keep blogging?
Definitely my supportive readers and other bloggers who stop by to read and see what I have to say, whether it is daily, weekly or monthly. Thank you for all of your support, comments and constructive criticism.

2. How do you cope with life’s struggles?
If it is something sad, I cry. Letting it out works best for me. If it is a challenge or a problem, I think of the best way to overcome it and keep in mind, that someone always has it worse and that I should feel grateful for all that I have. I know life is filled with struggles. But after the rain, a beautiful rainbow will appear. Another way for me to cope it talk it out with my mom. She is the best listener and she always gives the best advise.

3. What is your favorite fall 2014 wardrobe item so far?
My H+M Denim Jacket that I thrifted brand-new for ten bucks. The best $10.00 I ever spent. That thing has become a favorite layering piece and I can see it work for all 4 seasons.

4. What is your favorite movie of all time?
This is a tough one but it's a tie between "A Beautiful Mind" and "Dirty Dancing". They are both very different from each other but what they have in common (in my opinion) is that a beautiful soul always shines through and despite the many struggles in life it is with that soul that you will achieve greatness.

5. What is your favorite color?
My most favorite of all is RED, hands down.

6. What is your favorite inspirational quote?
There are many, many quotes that I like but I don't have a number one favorite. But my 2 most favorite sayings are "Be Yourself" and "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Both of these are two statements I try to follow and I find to be very true.

7. How do you pamper yourself?
I haven't done a lot of that since being a mother. But I definitely feel very pampered after a long hot shower where afterwards I apply body butter and one of my most favorite perfumes. Then I take time with my hair and to top it off, I put on a cute outfit that makes me happy and some red lipstick.

8. What personality trait do you love the most about yourself?
My generosity and caring part of my personality. This is a very good trait to have, but at the same time, some people take it for granted and benefit from this trait of mine in a bad way/use it against me.

9. In life, what brings you the most happiness?
This is very easy. My daughter Vivian, of course.

10. Share one dream you have for your future.
A short-term dream is to visit my parents in Michigan within the next year, where I stay for at least a month. I miss them so much.

---------------------------------------------

As far as who I am nominating, I decided to nominate 15 bloggers whose blogs I have discovered this year. They not only inspire me, they are also amazing women with normal, busy lives. I could have added at least 5 more ladies to this list, easily. So here it goes (in no particular order).

Marta from Sweaters, Stripes and Sweets. She is such a casual-chic mom with a flair for Maxi Dresses/Maxi Skirts and loves to remix her closet. She is a great baker. And, she also happens to live in one of my most favorite cities - Toronto.
Gina from On the Daily Express. She loves the Express brand and is always super supportive to the Express-wearing Bloggers. She is such a good interviewer too. Her blog is definitely very unique and has many fun weekly features.
Danielle from For the Love of Leopard. This Gorgeous Brunette is the master of mixing fun prints and bright colors with beautiful statement jewelry. She has a soft spot for Leopard and Neon.
Angela from Pretty in her Pearls. This Elegant Mommy-to-be is very stylish and trendy. Of course she loves her pearls. Looking forward to seeing her Maternity Style.
Jill from Doused in Pink. This Chicago Mom always looks amazing in Shorts and Casual Skirts. She does some of the best Pinterest-Inspired Outfits too. And she is super sweet and supportive.
Carrie from Curly Crafty Mom. A mom of two and a fantastic DIY-er, Carrie is also quite stylish and chic as a Stay-at-home-mom. I enjoy her life+style blog, especially the trips and vacation posts and all of her recipes.
Renae of Simple Sequins. She is brave, she is beautiful and she is currently fighting breast cancer. This sweet+sassy lady deserves all of your love and support.
Erica from Casually Styled. This Gorgeous Mamma is usually wearing the latest trends. She is always glam and sexy even when she is wearing shorts or denim overalls. She definitely inspires me fashion-wise as a fellow mom.
Megan and Nora from Two Birds Boutique. These Stylish Sisters are also wonderful moms and wives. Their blog has it all: fun fashions, easy recipes, easy DIY projects and snippets from their everyday lives.
Brooke from Convenient Style. Her style is exactly that: convenient for a Mom on the go. But she always manages to look chic and polished.
Jennie from A Pocketful of Polka Dots. Her blog is very new but this lady is always so sophisticated in polka dots, stripes or solids. She always looks great in a pencil skirt and pumps.
Carrie from A Lovely Little Wardrobe. Carrie recently joined the work-force and has put together some very chic work looks. But even in her jeans and shorts, she always does a great job remixing her closet and great collection of scarves.
Ayana from Thrifting Diva. This talented thrifter is such an eclectic fashionista. Her style is fun and bold, colorful and girly. She manages to look like a million bucks with second-hand pieces.
Lana from Two Tweens and Their Mama. Lana is a mom of two teenagers and owns a hard-ware store as well. But make no mistake, she is feminine and sweet. Her blog has a little bit of everything.
Linda from A Labour of Life. This fierce Canadian is bold when it comes to both her fashion and witty tongue. I love her sense of humor and fun personality. Oh and she looks great in Yellow - one of my favorite colors.

So, I want to keep it short and sweet and just ask 5 instead of 10 questions to the 15 bloggers above, and I ask them to list 7 Random Facts about them. Thanks.

1. What is your favorite pattern?
2. What was your favorite activity as a child?
3. If you could shop at one store for the rest of your life, which store would you chose and why?
4. What is the number one thing that draws you to a person?
3. What are the top 3 things you want to accomplish within the next 5 years?

Thank you all for accepting and answering my questions. And Happy Sunday!!

P.S. Linking up with Carrie, Claire and Leeann.
Stay tuned for a "Mom Wear to Work Wear" Post Tomorrow. Thank you for reading.
