Budget Babes: Summer Trends - The Graphic Tee.

Happy Hump Day Ladies!! Today is the 3rd day of our Budget-Conscious Outfits. In case you missed it, yesterday's item was Statement Necklaces. Our Summer Trend today is all about the Graphic Tee. They are all the rage this Summer and you should own at least one. We are still covering Midi(s) tomorrow and Gladiator Shoes on Friday so stay tuned for what Maria and I have in store for you. =)
This is my Newest Graphic Tee and the only one I have purchased this year (for 6 bucks!!) I love that unlike most Graphic Tees that are either Black or White this is in a Soft Lavender. I had wanted a Graphic Top (either a Tee or a Sweatshirt) featuring some type of Skull and this satisfied my wish. The large skull in the middle is surrounded by many mini ones and they are all in a shimmery black material. For the first time this Summer I am wearing my White Bermuda Shorts which costed $17.00. I paired these pieces with my Bronze Beaded Sandals which go so well with the Lavender on top. Their cost was $12.00. Because it was such a hot day, I went very minimal with Jewelry. I only have on some small Silver Drop Earrings and my Real Silver Bracelet (which I don't take off these days; it was a gift by the way). I also added my new Mirrored Sunglasses and due to the humidity I had to put a Barrette on my hair. All of my Accessories totaled at $5.00. Which brings the final total of this super Simple Casual Outfit at $40.00 almost half of the $75.00 budget we have set up for these Outfits, this week. Not bad no? Do you own a pair of White Bermuda Shorts? What about a Graphic Tee? Have you ever worn the two together?
Coincidentally, Maria has on a Pastel Graphic Tee also which she paired with a Neutral Bottom and Neutral Shoes, as well. Great minds think alike!! Go check out her post and show her some love.

White, 100% Cotton, "Drew", Knee-length Bermuda Shorts: The Limited (very similar Chino Bermuda, best deal), (very similar w/ wide leg), (white skinny jean option, love these).
Silver, Sparkly, Globe Drop Earrings: Fred's Jewelry (similar, on sale, love these), (similar, best deal).
Silver, Thick, Intricate Chain Bracelet: Lord & Taylor (very similar), (similar w/ heart pendant), similar, best deal).
Pink-framed, Green/Rainbow Mirror "Wayfarer" Sunglasses: Random Street Vendor (New) (identical, best deal), (very similar, great deal), (gorgeous Ray Ban option, love these).
Pewter, Neutral-Metallic, Beaded, Thong Sandals: Old Navy (very similar, in gold), (very similar, in silver, on sale), (similar, best deal).

I also wanted to share a couple of pictures I took of Vivian "in motion" this morning before taking her to daycare. Her 2 favorite toys are her dolls and her books so this photo captures some of her favorite things. And it was only about 62 degrees this morning, that is why she is dressed a little warmer. There will be a Special Vivian Post this Saturday July 19th since she will be 1 and a half year old, so stay tuned. As always thank you for reading and for linking up with Maria and I today. The link-up will stay open for another full week exactly so you have time to link up your Summer Trends, if you haven't already. =)

P.S. Linking up with Carrie, Liz, Madeline, Melaina, Rachel, Renae, Sarah, Tara and Victoria.

  7. What a great deal on that t-shirt! This is great theme. Graphic t-shirts are so versatile and I like how you didn't go for black/white/gray.

  10. Hi Ada, great t shirt post. It reminds me of the graphic tees I have languishing in my closet- bring on summer! My favourite graphic t-shirt is khaki green with black triangles all over it, it reminds me of Aztec print and is very comfortable.

  11. I have noticed that graphic tees have been popular this summer... I have one that says LOVE on it, but I'd love to purchase some more for casual/at home days. Vivian is so cute in the Minnie outfit, we are planning a Disney trip next summer and I will need to load up on some Disney outfits!
