Mom Wear to Work Wear: Nude-Colored Tank Top.

I didn't mean to not post Monday and bring you this post very late on this Tuesday but I had to catch up with some rest most importantly, and the other hours of the day were spent with Vivian. Before I knew it, time slipped away. And as I mentioned in my Real Blogger Beauty post, I rarely schedule posts ahead. I have no time for that. Also, thanks to all of you who stop by to read, comment, advise. I am very behind with my blog-reading but I will blog-hop this week and try to catch up a little. Today's post was supposed to be yesterday's post, actually. Better late than never, right?

Every other Monday, I will bring you two Outfits featuring the same item of clothing first in a Mommy Outfit and then create a Work Outfit using at least one of the pieces as the first outfit. Sometimes the entire Outfit might be the same, I'll just use different accessories and shoes. I am doing this to show myself and you the versatility of my clothes by remixing them more. I have worn/will wear both Outfits shown on these posts. Though I am not currently working, I am definitely going into job interviews, job fairs and even did some office-related things a few days this month. I thought this posts will be fitting for Mondays since that is when the work week starts. I figured why not add some more inspiration to the day! Hope you enjoy these posts. In my first one, I will show you one of my most Favorite Tank Tops. It is a Light Cotton Jersey piece in a Nude Color, with a little Bib-like Ruffle down the front. It is Airy, Girly, Simple and Classic. The Color goes with anything and everything. A great layering piece.
This Tank Top has a flattering scoop neckline, which makes it easier to layer with, add a necklace on or even a scarf. For the Mommy Look I paired it with one of my Favorite Black+White Skirts. It is a Bucket Skirt with pockets, it has stripes and swirls within a geometric-pattern. I added my Denim Jacket and a New Orange+Gold Statement Necklace. For Shoes I chose Comfortable, Metallic, Neutral, Beaded Sandals which mixed well with the Gold Headband. For the Work Outfit, I tucked the Tank Top inside my New Gorgeous, Floral Brocade Pencil Skirt. The Ivory/Nude Skirt matched the Tank quite well and the pops of Bright Colors of the Floral Pattern were perfect. I wore my Bright Green Blazer, took off my Statement Necklace and substituted it for my Dainty Gold, Heart Charm Chain. And instead of Sandals I wore my Black+Cognac Wedges and kept on the same Hairstyle and Headband. What do you think of these Outfits? Do you own a Nude-Colored Tank? I hope my post inspires you to try some new looks with it.  =)

  26. Ada I think its a marvelous idea for blog posts.
Also because sometimes in our heads we limit items to certain seasons or scenarios and miss out on getting the most wear out of them.
I will for example wear a white jacket to work with trousers and then on the weekend wear the same white jacket with shorts.
