Bright Green Shorts, Black+White Gingham Shirt and Watercolor Keds.

I hope everyone celebrated a Lovely Father's Day and Weekend. I am lucky enough that I was blessed with a Father who is a very kind and wise man. He has such a soft heart full of compassion and will to help others. He is a wonderful man overall and a very loving grandpa. I have learned a lot from him, especially from his strong will to always learn and study a lot in school as well as to work very hard. But I think the most important thing he has taught me is how to save money (though I could do much better in this area - my fault, not his). He is a very savvy man who is always thinking ahead in terms of having his bills paid and how to cut unnecessary expenses. My Father is a Softie but he can be tough on the things that matter the most. So Happy (Belated) Father's Day to him and to my Husband too for being such a loving, caring dad to our Daughter Vivian!! Hope your Fathers had a relaxing, wonderful, special day yesterday and they got treated to something nice!

Now, moving on to an Outfit featuring a pair of my Favorite Shorts: the Bright Green ones by H&M. I have been seeing more and more bloggers wearing and purchasing some Bright Green, Emerald or Kelly Green Shorts this Summer. I have actually had these for 4 years but it goes to show you that a Great Color and Shorts in a nice length (not too short) never go out of style any Summer. Mine are cuffed and have Button Tabs off each side - nice little details. You can wear a belt with them since they have belt loops. Since purchasing my Summer Gingham Shirt I really wanted to try pairing the two together. I added these lovely Green Watercolor Keds and a Statement Necklace featuring the Channel logo (gifted to me recently) for a Casual Look with a little bit of a pizzazz. I ended up liking the final outcome, what about you? Do you own any Bright Green Shorts? Speaking of Shorts, I will show you another favorite pair later this week. =)

Black+White, Elbow-Sleeve, Light Gingham Button-down Shirt: A Local Shop (New) (similar, long-sleeve), (blue+white Summer option by Old Navy, best deal, love this), (peplum Summer option, great deal, love this).
Blue+Black Gingham, Heart-shaped Drop Earrings: Random Street Vendor (New)
Black Rubber Rope Necklace w/ 3 Circle Black/Rhinestone Pendants with the Channel logo: New & Gifted
Green, Metallic, Small Hair Claw: Random Street Vendor.
1 Baby Blue + 1 Hunter Green Crystal & Silver Ring Stretchy Bracelets: A Random Street Vendor (New) (love these green option + baby blue option).
Skinny, White Belt w/ Chain Detail: Piazza Italia (very similar, best deal), (very similar, great deal), (similar, on sale).

Coincidentally, the last time I wore these Green Shorts I also paired them with a Button Down (my Anchor Chambray), tucked in and belted, Green Shoes (my Green Pointy Flats), a Statement Necklace and even the same hairstyle. LOL An Outfit Formula, I like to call it. =)

  10. Awww happy belated Father's Day to your dad and hubby! I am so glad to see you post about your dad and Father's Day. I don't know what it is but dads are just not in their children's lives or respected enough, of all the 50 plus bloggers I follow only 7-10 mention or mentioned their fathers or acknowledged Father's Day, very sad. Enough ranting, lol you and Vivian look lovely and I think I like the gingham shirt over the chambray :). Rachel xo
