Spring Must Haves: Floral.

In almost 2 and a half years that I have been blogging regularly, I have had the opportunity to "meet" a bunch of other ladies who love blogging, shopping and fashion just as much as I do. Some friendships have formed. Some of my most favorite posts have been Guest Posts where I have featured different bloggers (like Monday's post) and especially the Collaboration Posts. Though I am not going to lie, the few times I have been asked to Guest Post has been awesome, also. =)

Last year in the Summer I started a series called "Moms' Summer Must Haves". Which then I continued it every season for several weeks each season. I did the Summer edition with AGI of Vodka Infused Lemonade, then the Fall edition with HEATHER of Style Journey and rounding up this year's Winter edition with LAURA of I Do deClaire for which we even did a link-up on our final week. I am late with the Spring edition since I realize it's already May but it had to be pushed because I challenged myself to a 30 for 30 in April. This time I asked one of my New Favorite Bloggers, the Lovely Amy Ann from the blog The Real Arnolds. She is not a Mom, but I have realized all of the Must Haves I have featured thus far should be Closet Staples in every woman's wardrobe. Doing it in May is perfect for two reasons: 1} it's my Birthday month and I plan to make it a great one for the blog and 2} it is finally warming up here to showcase Real Spring Outfits.

Amy kindly decided to do the "Spring Must Haves" edition with me, for the next few weeks, starting this Wednesday May 7th. Amy Ann's style is a little different than mine, but that's the Beauty of Fashion. It wouldn't be fun and interesting otherwise. There is something so effortlessly cool and chic with a little bohemian vibe about her style, while always managing to look chic and elegant even in the most casual ensembles. 1, 2, 3 are just three of the Outfits that Amy has worn lately that I have absolutely loved (head to toe). Plus, the girl has some amazing and pretty healthy recipes, besides having awesome outfits to show, so if you don't follow her blog yet, please do! Our first week, we both agreed that a Must Have for Spring, would be a Floral Print. There is something Fresh, Bright, Girly and Springy about this Beautiful Print. I choose to feature a Floral Scarf and Floral Pants, while Amy showcased a Floral Top and a Floral Tunic-Dress. My Outfits are more for Early Spring due to me wearing Pants, a Sweater or a Blazer. Amy's Outfits are definitely for the warm, sunny days of late Spring. I am in love with both of her Outfits. Her 2 Floral pieces are gorgeous. She decided to show us her amazing legs both times and paired each Outfit with Beautiful Camel/Neutral Sandals. She did an excellent job. I love them both, but the one with the Red Skirt & Wedges, I like slightly more. She is definitely inspiring me to wear one of my Red Skirts with a Floral Top.

For my first Outfit I am wearing one of my Newest Scarves. I purchased a couple of new Floral Scarves this Spring, but I was also gifted some Pretty Scarves. This Gorgeous Silk piece is courtesy of a Local Scarf Boutique. The Scarf is hand-painted and comes from Turkey. I love the Neon pops of Color through the Yellow, Orange, Bright Pink, Lavender and Red Flowers. I thought it was perfect to layer with my Necklaces, as I dressed up my little Faux Leather Skinnies and Silver Sneakers combo a little. My Sneakers are also a gift from Simple Shoes. They are as Comfy as they are Cute. And since it was chilly, I decided to wear one of my Sweaters one more time before next Fall. This one is a Bright Red with tiny Sequins and a loop-open Back tied into a Silk Bow. I wore this Outfit running errands close by my house and grocery-shopping with Vivian. Comfortable Shoes were a must!
Red, Cable-Knit, Sequined Sweater w/ Loop Back tied w/ a Silk Bow: c/o Koton.
Black, Hand-painted, 100% Silk Scarf w/ Multi-colored Floral Print: c/o A Local Scarf Boutique (New).
Navy, Stretchy Nylon Camisole: Lycra (New).
Navy Ponte, Jersey & Faux Leather Skinny Pants w/ Quilted Panels on the front: A Boutique in Tirana (New).
Dainty Silver Chain Necklace w/ White Glass Stone: Gifted from Turkey, from a Friend (New).
Tiny, Real Gold Hoops w/ Semi-Precious Stones: JC Penney's (New & Gifted).
Silver Pendant Fish Necklace in a White Silk Rope: A Random Street Vendor (it was 2 Bucks!)
Silver, Suede+Nylon Sneakers: c/o Simple Shoes (New).
(Hmm, I didn't realize this Outfit had so many FREE items. Love that!)

For my second Outfit I am featuring some brand-new Floral Pants courtesy of Zara. I actually wore them to the Grand Opening of the Newest Zara Flagship store here in Tirana, Albania (I will write more about that experience on a future post). These Pants are truly beautiful and already sold out on the website. I think since Printed Pants are currently very in style, go get yourself a Floral pair because they truly are a fun Statement piece. Mine are like a Blush/Ivory Color with a Pink+Beige Rose Print which looks like a Vintage Painting over a Brocade-like material. They have a Crease Pleat going down the middle on the front of each leg. The pictures truly do NOT do them justice. I paired them with this New Deep Berry Red, Peplum Blazer which has decorative Gold Zippers around it. So my New Gold Chain Necklace worked out perfectly. Since both the Pants and the Blazer make a statement, I layered with a White Button-down Shirt underneath. I also added some Red+Crystal Drop Earrings, Natural Eye Makeup and some Pink Lipgloss. I rounded up the Outfit with Black+Cognac Wedges and my Gorgeous Red Michael Kors Bag.
Berry Red/Burgundy, Cropped Peplum Blazer w/ Gold Zipper detail: A Local Boutique (New).
Cap-Sleeve, Button-Down, Poplin Shirt w/ Ruffles Around the Collar: Express.
Ivory/Blush, Rose-Print, Skinny, Ankle-length Pants: c/o Zara.
Red Crystal & Silver Rhinestone Beaded, Drop Earrings: Fred's Jewelry.
Thick, Faux Gold, Chain Necklace: c/o A Local Accessories Boutique (New).
Gold, Snake Wrap Bracelet: Bebe.
Magenta "Bracelet": Ponytail Holder.
Large, Red Leather Handbag w/ Gold Hardware: Michael Kors (New).
Black+Cognac Wedges w/ Buckle Detail: A Shoe Boutique.

Disclaimer: I was provided the Scarf, Pants and Sneakers for free. The opinions are 100% my own, however.

So, what do you think of these 2 Outfits featuring Floral? While I only showcased just two of My Floral pieces today, I think if I could round it up to 5 Floral pieces altogether I would chose a Dress, a Top, a Skirt, Pants and a Scarf in this Lovely, Girly, Fun Print. You will be seeing more Floral Outfits from me this month, so stay tuned. Also, to check out the details and thoughts of Amy's Outfits stop by The Real Arnolds today.

Have you worn any Floral lately? Show us how. Contact Amy or I via a comment on our blogs and we might feature Your Floral Outfit next week. And next Wednesday, Amy and I will show you a Statement Dress for Spring. Stay tuned and Thank you for reading!!

P.S. Linking up with Melaina, Alison, Shanna, Sarah, Lindsey, Victoria, Rebecca and Lisa.
