Outterwear and Boots... in May.

Like I mentioned on Friday our weather took a turn for the worst. Definitely too cold for the middle of May and that is very unusual for around here. I seriously didn't think we would go back to Heavy Coats, Puffy Vests and Boots, not until at least late October. But such was the case and these 2 Outfits today, are the result of the low temps, cold weather and harsh rain we have been having. As a matter of fact, after these days I wore a Puffy Coat (full-sleeve one) for the next 3 days. Layers were necessary.

I guess you can say that I wore/remixed my Black Leggings two ways because I am just realizing now that they are worn in both Outfits. For the first Outfit I layered my Greens: Mint Green Wolf Sweatshirt with Bright Green Puffer Vest. Miss Vivian matched me in her Mint Fleece Jumper Dress and her Jeggings. The Rusty Metallic Studs of my Camel Boots matched the Rusty Metallic Studs of my New Sweatshirt. For the second Outfit I wore my B+W Striped, T-Shirt Dress with an unbuttoned Chambray knotted and my Tall, Flat, Cognac Boots. I even wore my New Baby Blue Leather Jacket last seen in this Girly Getup. Since my Striped Dress, Chambray Shirt & Cognac Boots were all part of the 30 items for this Spring's 30 for 30 Challenge consider this Outfit an additional one (the 36th) I did for the challenge. Both of these Outfits are super simple for casual, cold, rainy days but they are me. What do you think?

  16. You are truly one 'hip' mom, Ada! The shot of Vivian with the comb reminds me of my boys.. just no matter how many toys they used to have, they were still attracted to combs, remote controls, celullar phone.. I wonder what they see that we don't, them babies...
