33 of 30: Leather, Lace and Totally Tres Chic (Link Up).

Hello on this rainy Thursday. Let's start off my Birthday month with a Beautiful Link up, shall we? So, Welcome to Thursday's Tres Chic Link up. Make sure you link up, follow your hosts and have some fun blog-hopping around. It is Our Pleasure to have you join Agi and I today. Thank you or linking your beautiful outfits with us. =)

Today I bring you Outfit #33 worn over the weekend for an event I was invited to: an expo show about the Visual Arts and Published Works. In my last career, I worked with books, publishers and editors. I held a very important title and loved my job. It taught me so much about what goes on behind publishing a book: that little book each one of us holds in their hands to read, and so much more. Anyway, even-though I have not been working since the Holiday season 2012 right before giving birth, I was so happy that I was invited. Hubby followed along, of course. And it was a great event, the first one ever but it will become an annual thing.

This Outfit was worn towards the last few days of my challenge, for this event. I am glad I included some Dressy pieces for the challenge (of course I would) because what I wore to this show worked out perfectly. There is something both classy and sexy about this Outfit, while being girly and edgy at the same time. Because of the combination of the edgier Faux Leather+Plaid Pencil Skirt with the Soft, Sweet, Nude Lace Tee which has some Embellishment on the bust. The Scoop Neckline worked perfectly to show off a Necklace I have had since last Summer but that it was totally forgotten. It has Heart-shaped Stones starting with the big one in the middle and smaller ones around it. I love the combination of the Bold Colors on the Necklace such as Ruby Red & Emerald Green with the Softer Champagne-colored Stones. Ohh and it costed just $10. My Earrings are simple featuring Small, Red Stones that reflect light and have a mirror effect. I added my Red+Silver Butterfly Cocktail Ring and some Austrian Crystal+Acrylic Bangles (one of them has Silver Crystals, the other 2 have Light Rainbow Crystals). The Watch has a little bling to match the Bracelets. Nude Pumps matched the Lace Tee perfectly. And I polished up my Outfit with some Bold Berry Red Lipgloss and simple Eye Makeup. My Husband said I looked "Very Hot, like a Babe" (his words) and he even took almost all of these photos for me and it is quite a lot. He looked very Sharp himself wearing a Black Suit with a Light Beige Shirt underneath and a Dark Red Tie. Of course I picked his Outfit to match mine. We actually took some photos of the two of us together at the event (and I took a couple of him). The photos came out great. I really wanted to post at least one of ours but when I told my husband that he said that 1} he is not a fashion blogger (LOL) and 2} he didn't want to take away from my beauty in this Outfit. Awww. This Outfit worked perfectly for Spotlight Weekly's theme this week which is Lace. What do you think of this Outfit? Do you own a Neutral Lace Tee in Ivory, Gold, Nude or White? How have you worn it recently?
