26 of 30 and 27 of 30: Burnt Orange Tee Layered 2 Ways.

My Tops today were both 2 "Wild Cards" I threw in the mix of clothes during this 30/30 challenge month. They are both Graphic Tops and I knew they would be hard to remix. Since I hadn't worn my Burnt Orange "Love & Magic" Tee by Old Navy since about 2 weeks ago, I decided to put it on again, so I wore it 2 days in a row.

I guess you could call the first outfit "Layered in Orange and Black" since Burnt Orange and Coral both follow under the Orange family in my opinion. To bring some excitement and a pop of Neon Colors to my ensemble, I added my Neon Necklace, Bracelets and Studs. I am quite happy with the results. A very Simple Outfit but I was Put-together, nevertheless. With the second Outfit I had decided that sometime during this challenge I wanted to try my Sweatshirt knotted on the back, layered over another top. I don't hate how it came out, but truth be told, it looked cuter in my head. I think, next time I should try layering a longer top underneath that is more fitted. To sort of mix+match with the color of the bottom layer, I added a Long Red, Beaded Necklace. And unfortunately it was Boots Weather as we had yet another cold, rainy day. It has been a nasty April for the most part. =( That is why during this challenge I have worn more Pants that I would have liked to. Oh well.
Pros: I like that I thought about pairing this Tee with this Cardigan. The 2 different shades of Orange play off each-other. I like the addition of the Bright, Neon Jewelry. Fun and a little Springy.
Cons: The Color combination of Orange+Black may remind one of Halloween. I am afraid I look too much like a Pumpkin for April. LOL

Pros: Simple Layers thrown together. And a very Comfortable Outfit for a Rainy day. The Red Lipstick dresses it up.
Cons: I feel just OK about the Outfit as a whole. As I said the Knotted Sweatshirt on the back doesn't look as great as I pictured it.

This is the last time that I wore both of my Burnt Orange Tee and the Tiger Sweatshirt, during this challenge. I figured I'd show you guys collages of how I remixed each one. Which of these remixes is your favorite look, from each top? Tell me the truth. Thanks.
I think my Favorite Outfit with the Burnt Orange Graphic Tee is the middle one. I loved it with my Faux Leather & Plaid Skirt.
My Favorite Outfit featuring my Tiger Sweatshirt is the 3rd Outfit (from the left). I like it paired with the Hazelnut Cords and Black Blazer. Both of these pieces pick up the colors of the Sweatshirt.

P.S. Linking up with Sherry, Tara, Claire, Doranda, Lauren and Molly.
Enjoy your Saturday!!

  1. I feel the same way when I were orange and black. I also can't do red and khaki. Due to my Target working days.
