The Story of the B+W Striped Skirt and Winter White Sweaters X2.

One of the best things about fashion blogs is reminding yourself or finding items in your closet you had forgotten about or hadn't worn for a real long time. A Black+White Pencil or similar Style Skirt, I believe should be in everyone's closet. I have had my Ponte one from Express for about 4 years now. I love how it fits and the fun back part, too. But the thing is I hadn't worn it (at least shown for, on the blog) since 2010. Wait what? Why would I not wear this beautiful, perfectly-striped, totally-on-trend Skirt? I might have worn it once in 2011 but the Fall of that year I made the move to Albania. This Skirt was packed in one of my many luggage. But that particular luggage was over the weight limit and I had to rush getting some items out. Unfortunately this Skirt was one of them. It was waiting for me at my large walk-in closet in US and I was finally reunited with it last Summer. I wore it once more in the Summer. I have been seeing a Skirt like this in so many blogs lately, especially on Kate and Andi. They have been styling it in many great ways, which reminded me to do the same. Thank You Blog.

So, I finally made a true effort to wear it this January and so I did, two days in a row, very similarly. I am glad that this week's Spotlight Weekly with Elle & Jac is Winter White, because the 2 Outfits today were perfect for it. Winter White, Ivory, Latte or Cream (call it whatever) happens to be one of My Favorite Neutral, Understated Colors that I need to wear more of. First the Skirt got paired with my new Peter-Pan Winter White Sweatshirt that has some Gold shimmer through it, matching the Gold Studs on the Neckline. I even added Gold Studs on the ears. I also paired it with my Olive Green Booties. The next day, I wore another Cream Top - my Paris Sweater - and even my Paris Watch, with my Cognac Riding Boots. Both days I kept the same Mustard Coat and Faux Fur Gray Scarf, on. These 2 Winter White Sweaters are fairly new and costed $30 for both. Both of these Outfits would be great for work too, whether as a Teacher or a Business-Casual Office. What do you think of each Outfit in how I styled this Skirt? Do you own a Similar B+W Striped Skirt? If not, go get one. You won't regret it. Are you wearing Winter White this Winter?

And you can still link up a Winter Outfit on Yesterday's Link Up. Just like yesterday that I showed you Boots & Booties, today I am doing the same. Thank you to everyone who linked up so far. The Link Up will stay open until Midnight on Tuesday February 4th. Last but not least, you will get just one more post (tomorrow) where you see my Christmas Tree and my Really-Long Hair before getting it chopped shorter, then we are done. I knew these would go through the very end of the month. Sorry. (I love Christmas decor though and keep mine up at least till the middle of January. LOL)
