Mom's Must Have Fall Items Series - Week 5, Part 1: BOOTS & BOOTIES.

Today is week five of Heather & my Collaboration for Mom's Must Haves for Fall. The first week we styled Cardigans. The second week we styled Statement Necklaces & Scarves. The third week we styled Corduroy Pants. And last week we styled Blazers. This week we are styling Boots/Booties and Flats.

I am doing things a little bit differently this week. Due to some mishaps with my memory card, I don't have any new Outfits for this. Instead, I am showing you several different looks of how I styled different Boots & Flats. I am dividing this into 2 posts. Today you get to see Boots & Booties, next post will be Flats. I absolutely love Boots. Fall is a great season for them and Boots are one of the main reasons why I look forward to Fall. I love tucking my Skinny Jeans & Leggings inside them and even pair them with my Sweater Dresses & Tights. I picked several different favorite Outfits, which I am sure most of you have not seen before. I only had about 30 readers/followers back then. LOL Below is each Outfit in detail. If you click on each Outfit's title/name, you will be able to see each original post. Enjoy!

This Outfit was worn on Christmas Day 2011. We went for lunch over at my in-laws. These Chocolate Brown/Maroon, Suede Booties with Heels are by Aldo's. I wanted to be in the Christmas spirit by wearing this Black+Red, Ponte Mini Dress w/ a Bow up front, which I had purchased new just for the occasion. The Crystal Dangly Earrings & Feather Hair piece kept things more festive & fun. What do you think?

2. Black+White with Mustard & Cognac for Office Chic.

This was one of my Work Outfits worn in May 2012 on an otherwise chilly day. I was pregnant at the time and had my suspicions but didn't know it yet. This is the first pair of my Cognac Boots. They are by Payless. I love the thick, square Heels & all the Buckles they have. This Outfit came out nice between the B+W Pencil Skirt, the 2 Matching Mustard Tops, the Cognac Boots, the Statement Necklace & the Heart-shaped, Mustard Drop Earrings. What do you think of Outfit #2?

3. Houndstooth with Punches of Leopard, Red & Python.

This Outfit was worn on November 2009 on a Date with my Husband. We started with Dinner and then we went for Martinis & Dancing. These Charcoal Gray, Python, Stiletto Booties are from Nine West. The Tights are Black-on-Black Leopard ones by Betsey Johnson & the Dress is a Gray Houndstooth pattern which I punched up with a wide, Patent Leather, Red Belt. It looks like this week I have been showing you my love for Houndstooth: first a Houndstooth Scarf, then a Houndstooth Shirt-dress and now this Ponte Dress. What do you think?

4. Taupe, Burgundy, Navy & Cognac Layers.

This Outfit was worn on an Early Spring Day to work, in 2012. I mixed lots of  Neutrals & piled up layers to stay warm, all starting with a Sweater Dress. These are my other Cognac Boots, also from Payless. These are a riding style, flat boot, so comfy & pretty - I love them. Also, even-though I have a bunch of Blazers, I absolutely love this Wine, Velvet one from White House Black Market with the Peplum style & the Military trend also. What do you think of this Cozy Outfit?

5. Blue Jeans, Printed Chiffon Top & Knee-High Boots.

This was a going-out, Club Outfit in late October of 2010. These Cozy, Slouchy, Navy, Faux Suede Boots are by Wet Seal. They were a perfect match with the other Blues & Purples going on, in this Outfit. This Silk Chiffon, Asymmetric Tunic by Bebe is Gorgeous. The Jeans are slightly Distressed. I added the Navy, Wool, French Cap both for style & for warmth. Of course, I wore a Coat for the outside. What do you think of this look?

6. Cozy, Warm Layers for a December Evening.

This is one of the simplest look, for a Coffee, late Afternoon Date on December 2012. The  Black Riding Boots are by Impo from DSW. Besides my Flat Cognac Boots, these are my other most-worn Boots which I love. Even-though I wore a Scarf & a Coat for outside, I wanted to be warm so I wore this Merino Wool Cardigan (which I love) over a light Turtleneck. Now that I am seeing this, I am liking how Gray pairs with Turquoise. What do you think, Ladies?
Which of these 6 Outfits do you like the most and why?

Here is how Heather styled her Boots.

I love how her Flat Cognac Boots happen to be her favorites, just like mine are. The Boots look Lovely with all the Pastel Colors. Pastels are big for Fall 2013 also, so Heather is definitely on trend, here.

P.S. I am linking up with Lindsey, Alison, Melaina, Sarah and Kelly.

  3. Tough decision! I like 2, 3, and 4 the best. That houndstooth dress is just too cute! And I love the cognac boots with the black, white and mustard. It's a great combo. The burgundy blazer really looks great with neutral colors, too. Such a perfect fall outfit! I love boots as well, but it's been too warm to wear them yet!

    1. The first boots are a Dark Chocolate Brown Leather Suede. They have these ruffle-like flaps on the top, by the front.
