Casual Gray Mini Skirt - 2 times in the Same Week.

Vivian had a rocky night of sleep last night. I was awake half of the night with her. When she finally went to bed around 5.00 AM I did too and we woke up late. That is why I am posting this later than I would like to, today. Not that I really have a usual posting time. With a young baby at home that is impossible. Then, one of my oldest and dearest friends (who lives in Baltimore and is currently visiting Michigan) was coming to see us with her Husband & Baby Girl. So we had to get ready for that. Then it was feeding time & nap time for the baby, we had lunch, Skyped with Husband and before I knew it, it was 5.00 PM. Ooops. One of these days I will schedule my posts for Mornings let's say between 7.00 and 8.00 AM. One of these days, girls.

I have had this casual Draw-string, Gray Mini Skirt by Express for a few Summers now. But since having a ton of clothes I haven't worn it a lot. I like how it is so Simple & Breezy and washes so easily. 2 features I love in it are the Pockets and the Express Logo (it has a large Dragon embroided on the front, under the left pocket). These 2 Outfits were worn 2 days away from each other (not on purpose). Let's look at each individually, on detail.

The Outfit on the Left was worn on a Friday evening for a long stroller ride with Husband & Baby. I wore it with a Magenta Cami & Matching Jewelry. Gray always looks great with Pinks & Purples. I added my Royal Blue & Neon Sandals. While the second Outfit was worn 2 days later, in the afternoon. Very similar to the Camisole look, I paired it with an Aqua/Mint Tank Top & matched a Long Beaded Necklace with it. I brought out the Gray of the Skirt by matching the Flip-Flops. In both looks I did the Sock Bun which is an Excellent & Easy Hair-style for Humid, Hot Days. What do you think of these 2 looks & which one do you prefer?

  5. I love the skirt with purple blouse and slippers with rhinestones. Good that you are choosing accessories with rhinestones, you may try Korean rhinestones for your clothing accessories. It's very fashionable and very colorful.
