Week's Best Looks - My Blog Birthday Party

Welcome to a Special Edition of Week's Best Looks. This time all the looks belong to My Fabulous & Stylish Birthday Party Guests that participated in My Fun Birthday Blog Party . I still plan on running a Regular Week's Best Looks, albeit later on this upcoming week, probably by Tuesday or Wednesday. I hope you all liked the idea of a Blog Birthday Party and Thank you for attending to all of you who did. This was Fun, maybe we shall do it again next year. ;-)

Even-though I have thought of this before since last year and I wanted to make it happen, it didn't come to fruition until this year when for My Birthday. This Birthday the celebrating was really laid-back because I had the biggest change of my life yet - I became a Mommy (so a Blog Party was perfect)! Vivian truly is the Best Gift of any kind, any day, any occasion. She is definitely the Biggest & Best Birthday Gift to me. My birthday this year coincided with Vivian's 15 weeks, because she was born on a Saturday as I've mentioned before. So Happy 15 Weeks My Sweetheart! Two weeks from today you are going to be exactly 4 months old. Time sure flies more and more each day it seems like.

Megan (who submitted an outfit below also) made it happen (before me) when she decided to do a Blog Birthday Party for her 23rd Birthday, this past January. It was literally just a few days before I had Vivian with a big pregnant belly and all, but I still got dressed up & put a Dress on to Honor her & make her feel Special. Everyone should feel Special for their Birthday after all. It is their day & they should enjoy it 100%. Anyway, I had so much fun receiving all of your outfits and that you "all got the memo" that I love Dresses since most of you chose Dresses either in Red (which is My Favorite Color) or Nude/Beige. Coral was another Popular Bright Color chosen for this Blog Birthday Party as was Black which is always Classic, Sexy, Ageless. You Ladies also submitted lots of Ruffles that I adore as well. You were all BEST DRESSED or Dressed to the Nines. Even-though most of you made late arrivals and I planned on posting this post earlier, by 9.00 AM Eastern time at the latest, I still want to Thank You from the Bottom of My Heart for participating, taking your valuable time to Style an Outfit for me & E-Mail it to me. It is Much Appreciated.

Now as far as My Birthday Yesterday (May 4th is my actual birthdate), I had a good, simple, laid-back Birthday. The Hot Pink Dress below is what I actually wore. It is my Birthday Day/Afternoon Look. I was supposed to include an Evening/Night Look too for Today's Post, but that will have to wait since we didn't do anything last night. My Husband and I were supposed to have dinner out last night (without the baby) but he wasn't feeling so well. Instead we will go tonight & celebrate a little since it is both of our birthdays (his is tomorrow). Also, today we celebrate Our Easter. We are both Christian Orthodox so our Easter is today, it almost never falls on the same day as the Catholic Easter. I am putting Vivian in a brand-new Outfit since you are supposed to wear new clothes for Easter, especially as Kids. But, I am Ambitious when it comes to My Blog so of course I had to Style an Outfit for this Occasion specifically. The first Outfit (Denim Dress) is what I styled for the sake of the Blog Virtual Birthday Party alone & then I have what I actually wore on My Birthday. Which of the 2 Looks do you like the best? Of course they are both Dresses Duhhh! LOL One is a little fancier (more of a Night Look) than the other. I plan on doing individual posts on this to give you guys the details of each outfits, later in the next few days.

What the Hostess Wore?
This Outfit is what I styled & decided to wear specifically for the Blog. It is one of the Sexiest Looks I have worn in a long while, complete with Sexy Red Stilettos in Patent Leather. This is another dress I have had in my closet for a while now. I love the Military detail. I was a little afraid to wear it because it is Boobylicious & well I am busty, even more so now that I breast-feed. But it doesn't look too shabby, after all I gave birth just 15 weeks ago. I am also proud that I came up with such a Fun Outfit, including a Multi-Colored, Floral, Statement Necklace that I purchased for myself as a Birthday Gift. I kept the rest of the jewelry simple & just added a Sparkly Little Crystal Headband but you only see the flower because the band is a thin Black one. I really wanted to add a Clutch with this but my Clutches & Summer Purses are all put away in a box for the moment and well I came up with the outfit fast & took the photos fast while Vivian was sleeping. In all this took 15 minutes.
I have had this dress from bebe, in my closet, for at least 4 years. I have never worn it - I don't know why because I loved it when I purchased it & I love it even better now that shirt-dresses are currently the Trend of the Moment. The Bright Pink Color is Beautiful too so I thought My Birthday was a Perfect Occasion to wear it for a Daytime Look. I felt Pretty, Chic, Girly, Dressy yet Casual enough (I wore some of My Favorite Sandals who are also very Comfortable, not just Pretty) & Sassy enough with all the Crystal & Glass Jewelry. I dressed Vivian in a coordinating Hot Pink Outfit. Her Dress is new with the bunny on it, as is her bow on her hair. I must say the photo below is My Most Favorite one of the day (Husband and I didn't get to take pictures together because he wasn't feeling well or up for pictures, but we shall do that today & tonight). She Celebrated Mommy's Birthday in Style, of course. =)

And here are My Birthday Party Guests all Looking Dressed Up, Chic and Pretty. Welcome All to My Birthday Blog Party. It's a Fiesta. It is after all Cinco de Mayo, today.  So with that said Happy Cinco de Mayo to all of you who celebrate it!

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

It is fitting and polite to start things off with LONDYN of Blog Fashion since hers is one of the 1st Blogs I started reading 4 years back, plus I love her Chic Style with just enough Sexy. She thought of me when putting together this Outfit. She wanted something Bright, Fun & Colorful and between the Sunny Yellow Pencil Skirt with the Electric Blue Pumps, plus the Ruffled Shirt & Dressy Envelope Clutch she couldn't have picked a better outfit!

Next we have LORENA of Lorena's Every Day Wear. She is also one of the first bloggers I started following after I opened my own blog, as well as a Big Fan of My Style & me of hers. She has become a Good Friend. Lorena has some Gorgeous Dresses in her closet & she chose this Lovely Gold/Beige one with just enough Sparkle. This Dress has a Retro Style & I love it with the Matching Purse, Neat Ponytail & Burgundy Pumps for a Pop of Color!
Continuing with MEGAN of Megan Dae Daily who chose a Red Dress (2 things I love) specifically for me, to layer with a Black+White Stripped Cardigan for some Casual Appeal & with an additional Pop of Color - Teal Sandals. The Red Dress looks Superb with her Funky Red Hair.
Then, we have the Mother Daughter team of H&K Style Journey. First Heather (whom I consider a Dear Friend) dresses down a Pretty, Feminine, Ruffled Dress with a Jean Jacket & Adorable Gold, Woven Sandals. She makes it Perfect with the Bubble Necklace that I am in love with & her Hair Looks Great, too.
While Heather's Daughter Kayla looks Beautiful & Youthful in a Teal/Aqua Chevron-Print Dress also with Ruffles & a Zipper Detail in the front. She matches it with Flats in the same color. I must say this is one of My Most Favorite Dresses here, today. =)
And then there is INGE from This Ever Evolving Life who chose a Dress in her closet that I love - the Print is Happy, the Colors are Beautiful, plus it has Ruffles. She even wore a Headband just for me (I Love Headbands).
Continuing with DAPHNE of Fashion Confessions of a Mommy who was one of the Ambitious ones with 2 Party Outfits. The 1st one with the Turquoise/Teal Floral Pants with the Matching Necklace & Coral/Hot Pink Button Down for an additional pop of Color. With the Flat Sandals, this is more of a Day Birthday Look. Not to overshadow her Night Black+White Birthday Look of a Mini Little White Dress paired with Off-Black Tall Leather Boots & Matching Moto Jacket. Love them both.
IDA of Mrs. Jack of All Trades chose the Black route in a head-to-toe All Black, All Sophisticated & All Sexy Outfit adding just enough Color with her Amazing Heels & of course carrying a Classic Quilted Chanel. It is one of My Most Favorite Looks.
GINNY of My New Favorite Outfit also chose a Dress worn with a Cardigan over in a Teal & Red Palette - 2 Colors I Love. She paired it with her go-with-everything Nude Pumps & Classic Ivory Coach Bag.
NOEL of High Heeled Mamma meant Bar Night with Cocktails, in her Red Skinny Jeans who fit her perfectly, paired with a Top in a Fun Dotted Print & Awesome Teal Peep-Toe Pumps.
KACIE from Kacie's Kloset who is one of My Most Favorite Fashionistas also had a Day & a Night Look ready for me. Her day Outfit was playful between the Graphic T-Shirt paired with a Floral Midi Skirt (I love the length & print) plus Leopard Skinny Belt, still dressy enough with the Wedges. The Night Look involved some Major Leg Action in her Mint Shorts, Gorgeous Floral Top & the rest is Black to make it Chic while Sexy.
SHERRY of The Life of the Party picked a Stunning, Water-Color Romper Mini Dress in Pinks & Corals that looks like a Painting, mixing it with a Pair of Satin Pumps & the thinnest of Clutches in Similar Colors.
MISTY of Balancing A Hectic World started us off with a More Casual Day Look by tucking in Skinny Jeans into some Tall Leather Boots with a Nice Blush Military Blazer that I Love. She also submitted an Evening Look. Her Dress is also a Neutral almost Nude color with a Fun Lace-Up Neckline. It is a Chic Sheath that she paired with Pointy Nude Pumps. This would be great for a Birthday as well as a Hot Date.
BETHIE of The Fashionable Adventures of Bethie the Boo chose a Dress also. Hers is Mustard in a Trendy Shirt-Dress Style with an Adorable Metallic Clutch with Flower attached to it & Geometric Print, Multi-colored Ballet Flats.
KATIE of Style Diary did Pattern-Mixing between her Stripped Blazer & Floral Blouse with Coral Pink Jeans perfected on the toes with Sassy, Sexy, Black T-Strap Pumps. A Sassy Night Birthday Party Look for sure.
JESS of J's Style chose the Most Classic Color Pairings of them all: Black+White. But her Cardigan has enough Sparkles for a Festive Look & she added Pretty Coral Sandals.
LAURA of Walking in Memphis in High Heels has a Sassy Party Look with her Light-Blue Chambray tucked into a Gorgeous, Girly, Lace Mini Skirt, with Fun Cognac Booties, Crystal Necklace plus Amazing Wavy Hair. Love it!
Last but not least BRI of Work Clothes I Suppose submitted an Outfit she styled rather than wore herself but it is OK. This is exactly what she would have chosen, were she to attend My Birthday. All 4 pieces are Perfect & I wouldn't mind having each one into my closet, especially the Clutch and the Dress of course.
