Week's Best Looks: December 16th 2012.

Every week  I put a lot of effort into the looks I choose. They are all looks I would choose to wear myself, and most of these pieces are either pieces I would like to own (or smth. very similar to them), create outfits with, or buy. I also try to stay neutral with the girls I choose weekly, though some of them have made it to my list about 3-4 times already. That is not just because I am loyal to their blogs. But it has to do with their styles which I love. And I am a real girl, living a real life in a real world, so the looks I choose are real. They describe my style approach as best as they can. It looks like this week I was drawn to Vests, Jackets, Plaid and Knee-High Socks. What do you think?

This Week's Lovely Looks include, starting with the first colage
(from top to bottom, left to right):

Jessica's Winter White Outfit is so polished, elegant, pretty & feminine. She paired a beautiful knee-length Lace Pencil Skirt with a Simple Sweater, Dainty Jewelry & Clutch, as well as Vibrant Leopard Pumps. This look can go from day to night, from the office to cocktails.
Molly looks both Perky & Tough mixing a pretty Chevron-Stripped Top and Wintery Shorts with a Black Leather Motorcycle Jacket & Chunky Gold Jewelry on her wrists.
Whitney who is a Teacher, always looks Dressy and Comfortable in her Skirt Ensembles. I love this one mixing different shades of Aqua with Teal & Beige. The Chunky Necklace adds some Zest.
Heather has made my list several times but she deserves it each time. I love how both of these versatile pieces: a Stripped T-Shirt Dress & Olive Green Military Vest, Dress Up each other. I can see this outfit working for a Holiday Party, too.
Lauren loves her Puffy Vest and I do too, especially paired with Plaid and Classic Hunter Boots. She looks so polished for being so casual. I love her Classic, Black, Fancy Handbag, too.
Alison's Blog I just discovered this week and I already love it. This vibrant, Multi-Colored, Cozy Sweater Dress took my attention right away. Paired with a Mustard Scarf & Mustard Tights was a Bold Move, yet she kept her Boots, Neutral.
Shanna also wore a Puffy Vest this week, also pairing it with a Red Christmasy Plaid. I love how she kept things Girly with a Bucket Skirt & Classic Cognac Boots with Cute Knee-High Socks.
Ms. Dossome is working a T-Shirt Dress with an Infinity Knit Scarf, Dark Tights & Boots, as well as Knee-High Socks. She looks Adorable.
Megan has such a funky style, she never dissappoints when it comes to being Unique. This time she looks like she stepped out of the 40s with her Adorable Cloche, Retro-Inspired Jacket & Plaid Skirt.
Ashley is wearing her Husband's Sweatshirt complete with Elbow Patches, paired with Kelly Green Skinnies & a Long Beaded Necklace. Green is her Favorite Color and she looks Amazing in it, every time.

Once again I had a heard time choosing my favorite outfit this week. It was between the Black Sweater Dress paired with the Red Cardigan, The Turqouise & Red Outfit, and the Burnt Orange & Jeans Outfit. Ultimately it was a tie between these two looks:
I like the sweater dress paired with the cardigan because it represents me 100% and it is a typical type of outfit for me for the cold months. Plus I always love wearing these two colors together. And I think I did a good job choosing the jewelry. The Turquoise and Red is another Favorite Color Combination of mine. The Stripped Cardigan is Bold and the Little Skinny Magenta Belt Shows off My Bump, nicely.

P.S. On Tuesday December 18th I am keeping a Vow of Silence and NOT posting a Style Outfit, in Honor of the Sandy Hook Elementary and I encourage you to do the same. That was a tragedy that shook a nation and the world. =( To read more about this check The Vintage Apple, here.
