Mummu?! Dress?! Why Stress?!

Good Morning Friday!! It is chilly out there. It was cold last night. But between noon to 4 is actually pretty warm, only light layers are needed. It was a calmer, less busy day at work yesterday. It gave me a chance to catch up on a lot of the many blogs I read. I got some ideas for outfits for myself. At the same time I started looking into favorite weekly outfits from the fashionable ladies I follow, making myself ready for the second installment of "Week's Best Looks" this coming Sunday. =)

This outfit is from a warmer day last week. But once again the weather lied to me, because later in the afternoon it cooled off. Ehhh, we can't win, can we? =P I Have had this dress for a few years. I bought it because I loved the color and the easy-breezy style of it and ohhh it has pockets - I love pockets and a lot of times (with skirts and dresses) they are reason enough for me to purchase that item. But you could be the skinniest person ever, and because of the style of the dress, it may make one look like they are expecting. LOL It sort of looks like a mummu, but I think on a body that is a little curvy, like mine, it works. That is why this open-wide style works great over my belly. It paired well with this green cardigan and my gorgeous gold chain necklace. I even purchased the bracelets to match the necklace but they would match a lot of other things too, since they have the 4 main metallic colors. =) I got a little pattern mixing going between a neutral plaid (headband) and classic leopard (flats).

  2. This dress looks so comfortable! I love the color combo of the tan and turquoise too. I would love to see you style this dress with a cute ribbon and bow around your baby bump. The shirt you wore the other day with the ribbon was so cute! Heather

    1. Well I said the truth. I ain't lying. It's a mummu-style so I guess it would make anyone pregnant. LOL But yes I agree, made for a pregnant woman without being a pregnancy piece. Hmmm!!

    1. Rrofsh Aulona. Me pelqen edhe mua kjo ngjyra e trikos se eshte midis jeshiles dhe terkuazit qe quhet TEAL. Kjo eshte nje teal e lehte, le te themi verore. Kam edhe nje kanatiere qe eshte identik ngjyra e trikos, nga i njejti dyqan; jane blere per t'i kombinuar bashke. =)

  5. I bet that dress is very twirly! It looks super fun to wear. Some days you just need loose, fun, comfortable, cute.

    1. I do agree that pairing this taupe/brown with the light teal works (as far as colors go), but I plan on wearing this dress at least once more while pregnant and plan on putting a different color with it, plus belting it. =)
