White Spotted Shirtdress.

Today is a National Holiday here in Albania (albeit a Religious one). Just like there are many different religions in USA, there are 3 main religions in Albania and they each have a couple of big holidays a year, so my country has turned them all into National Holidays. However, when you work in Sales as I do, there is no such thing as a Holiday, even if it falls on a weekend. Sucker!! Don't get me wrong, for the most part I really like my job. I am surrounded by Books & Culture every day (I am a Manager and do Marketing for a company like Barnes & Nobles -- for those of you who do not know). But come on, when you see like 80% of the other businesses closed off for a Holiday, you can't help but feel a little sad and jealous. However, when it is a holiday, our store tends to be a lot busier and therefore more money revenue. The best part about this morning was the bus ride because it wasn't filled up or over-filled. It was pretty empty and I managed to find a seat right away - that usually happens with holidays and sometimes weekends.

Anyway, now some Fashion talk. I am once again wearing my Silk shirtdress with the big, silver leopard print all over it. I feel like this is one of those dresses that people remember easily. So every time I wear it, I try to add a different spin to it. I kept everything in the Pastel family this time and wore my Baby Pink Faux Snakeprint Loafers. Also, the jewelry was kept to a minimal, just simple Silver earrings. I look tired in these photos and truth be told, I was. I apologize about that.

  3. A silk dress must be really comfortable. I loved my silk skirt I had until I lost too much weight for it. Sounds like it was a good day even if you didn't get off.
