Gray, Black, White and Wild!

Hello and Happy Thursday. After feeling like poop yesterday, (excuse my language but I am just keeping it real) having vertigo, not having any appetite, real low blood pressure and an extreme headache on top of it all and after being one of the hottest days of this summer, I can gladly say I feel much better today. After all it is a new day and I am happy to be living, smiling and experiencing it. But guys I am over this summer, seriously. Autumn can't get here any sooner.

Anyhow, here is an outfit featuring one of my favorite skirts. I own a ton of black skirts, at least 6 of them are a pencil style. This, while still being considered a pencil skirt, it's also a fitted tulip skirt. It's a real nice material too, though it kept me hot to tell you the truth. It is much better suited for Spring, Fall & Winter. I also love this tee. It's a fun exotic-type of Animal-Print, plus it has sequins. Reminding myself, I have another one very similar from Loft, but whatever...

Heather Gray "Wild" Zebra-Print Tee w/ Black & White Stripes, Featuring Sequins: Express.
Black, Tulip Skirt w/ Pockets: Bebe.
Steel Gray, Silver-y, Glass Crystal Necklaces (it's actually 2 of the same necklaces; one worn as e necklace & one worn as a bracelet on my left wrist): White House Black Market.
Steel Gray, Silver-y, Glass Crystal Stud Earrings (that match the necklace): White House Black Market.
Dark Silver, Thong-Wedge, Beaded Sandals w/ Black, Gray & Silver Beads: Nine West.

  1. Eeep, I know exactly how you feel - because I've felt the same way. Dizziness, headaches, fatigue, no appetite. I too cannot wait for fall.

However those sandals make the summer a little sweeter! How cute are they.

    1. Megan, yesss, I feel you. This summer has been my enemy but the extreme heat has not been the only reason.

I keep reaching for these sandals 8 times out of ten when I put on my outfits in the morning. I do love them and they are a little dressy too, besides being so comfy. Thank You.

  2. I won a few (fewer than you) black skirts and do not have a tulip shaped one, but after seeing yours, I wish I did.
I think it's beautiful and I like how you kept this outfit very casual with that cute top.

    1. Yes, I love the silouhette of a tulip, pencil skirt. I think it has more of a camouflaging effect than a regular pencil skirt. It sort of envelopes you in. =)
